Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Carolina Beach Oceanfront

I loved the location right off the boardwalk. We walked to everything during our staff. Hotel staff were amazing such nice people. I didn't have the breakfast but the dining area was always packed and the food smelled good. I loved waking up in the morning and walking out the hotel directly onto the boardwalk. The room had plenty of space for the 3 of us. The room was clean as well.

While I loved everything, I was unhappy with how hard my bed was. I would wake up, and my hips would just hurt. I am a side sleeper. I would also love it if there were rooms with both a king and queen/full bed. My husband and I like to spread out, so a king would be lovely, but we have our daughter with us, and we don't want her to sleep on a sofa. So combining a large bed with a smaller one would be amazing!

The check in process was seamless. Kyle accommodated me with my date changes and he was amazingly personable! The breakfast had hot and cold options and everything was fresh and presented well. The parking attendant was really helpful as I attempted to move my vehicle out of a tight spot. The room was well stocked and clean. Overall a great stay! I will be back! Food served at Tiki Bar was delish. Easy access to beach.

I would love to receive a discount for beach umbrella and chair rentals while staying at the hotel.

I loved the location. I was on the boardwalk so close to restaurants and shops and of course being beach front is always a must for us on a family vacation.

we were told we were ocean view. we were but a partial view because our balcony was on the side of the building and not a direct ocean front view. I feel the wording was deceptive and when you pay for “ocean front view” at a property, you expect more than one from the side. my other complaint was having to schedule housekeeping service the night before and if you didn’t schedule it you had to get extra toilet paper and towels from the front desk because they didn’t have enough staff to bring items to your room.

The room was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the women running it were very friendly. The pool is not heated so nobody was in it. The boardwalk was very nice. And we loved all the shops right next door. And you have got to try Britt's Donuts. Oh my gosh. The donuts are soooo good.

The Tiki bar got very noisy at 1 am. We were on the 5th floor and could hear them talking and laughing and yelling at each other. I wish they had a heated pool and a hot tub.

room temp was too hot and someone came to check on it. she was housekeeping not maintenance. we had to move rooms at midnight. thankful they moved us! and we got back in our room. we did book through booking.com I do not ever recommend using them again. next time I will use Hampton inn directly. we got there and they did not have our room for us! an error occurred when I had to change my date. booking.com made it frustrating I did send a message and never heard back but overall loved this hotel and would recommend going back. great staff. loved the breakfast.

We loved everything about this hotel, from the staff to how clean it was. Excellent hotel and very close to the beach. We have stayed here before, will stay here again. Tiki bar was great and breakfast was too, alot to pick from for breakfast.

The area that this beautiful hotel is in, is really dumpy. Trash on the curbs, nasty restaurants (Bowmans on the Beach has to be the worst, rundown shouldbe torn down), and the buildings on the boardwalk look rundown and should be torn down and re-built. Alot of the storefronts are empty and what's left of the amusement rides should be torn down also. The actual boardwalk and the beach were fantastic, though. The powers that be in Carolina Beach should be talking about cleaning up the city because it is not appealing.

Beautiful ocean front room with balcony. Everyone was nice and breakfast was good. Tiki bar and fire pit was nice. Beach was easy for me to access. I had knee replacement this year and I was able to make it on the beach without issues. Found some nice shells.

That we had to request house keeping. I wanted my room cleaned daily. For the price of room that should be automatically taken care of. I'm on vacation so I want my bed made and room cleaned and toliet paper restocked

Location, location, location! Right next to the Boardwalk with a beautiful view.

The bed was not the level of comfort I am use to for a Hampton Inn...might be ok for a teenager or younger, but bed comfort left a lot to be desired--especially for the price. Also, NO microwave although there was one down the hall beside the ice machine.....beats going to the hotel lobby but still an inconvenience.

Front desk and Tiki bar staff were friendly. Hotel was clean and my room was nice. We were steps from the beach/boardwalk and food options. Beautiful location. We didn't eat breakfast due to our busy schedule but it looked amazing as we were heading out the door.

The only thing my husband wasn't a fan of was we came out to people blowing the dirt and leaves out of the parking lot. Because of the dew on the cars they were covered it dirt from the blowers.

The breakfast was great! There were several choices of food and it tasted good. The staff were very friendly and quick to help. The hotel was very secure and relaxing. We hope to go again.

The only complaint was the first room we received wasn't cleaned completely. One of the beds was still stripped of bedding and the TV was on. The desk staff quickly gave us another room and appologized greatly.
