I loved everything except...

That the ice maker doesn't work and it's cost $4.00 a day just to keep ice in the room. Also the free breakfast isn't offered because of covid sanitary rules I assume. So another amenity should replace the lack of breakfast. Stop advertising this and/or put the reason you can not offer breakfast. There are many prepackaged items that could be put in place of your regular breakfast.

My husband and I were in a serious housing bond because of our home of 8 years was condensed because our landlord did not fix her septic system for decades. We found the Sunset inn and their staff very accommodating and sympathetic to our problem. They made it a comforting temporary home. The wifi was super fast so we could do our business to get us out of our situation . Thanks Sunset

Everything but...

They advertised breakfast but bc of covid they stopped breakfast. They still advertise it so that's not good. They could also find a way to serve something like prepackaged breakfast danishes etc.. you pay the same price now and b4 covid without breakfast. No ICE MAKER THE WHOLE STAY That's EXPENSIVE $4.00 PER BAG A DAY. .(14);DAYS it looks like is has been down for very long time.

I love that it on the corner where everything is, Walmart , sonic, Applebee's and alot more and it's so affordable, I can go and just get away from everything and it not cost a lot. It's my favorite place to stay.

I don't know if they got a pool or not but now that summer coming, is come take kids swimming there . So I can't remember if it had one or not.

clean room, excellent location to restaurants, nice, friendly staff.

had 4 people stay in room. had 3 towels, 2 wash cloths and 1 hand towel. we really do not like sharing towels or wash cloths. asked laundry lady to give us 1 more towel, 2 more wash cloths and 1 more hand towel. came back to room and still had only 3 towels and 2 wash cloths. this is the only thing I did not like. the staff knows how many people are going to be in the room, why not have enough linens to service everyone. lady at front desk couldn't help. she said she did not have key to laundry facilities.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We stayed here for over a month last Fall and are currently here again. It’s our go-to when we need a place to stay in the area because it is clean, quiet and reasonably priced.

the worst thing was the towels were thin and they didn’t give you a lot of towels, no extra rolls of toilet paper you had to ask, and our shower was a slow drainer

Good value for the money. Clean, good security lighting, easy access to Jacksonville. Free coffee, Freindly staff. Good place for a cheap room that meets all the basic needs. It's amazing when people only pay $53 a night what they complain about. My 2 cents.

Some breakfast items would be nice

I took a trip to Jacksonville, NC for the first time , and wanted somewhere cheap to stay. 4 nights $240 after tax ? How bad could this be.. NOT ! Everyone minds their own damn business and as long as you do too you won’t have any problems! Great place to stay & the staff is very helpful.

Pretty sure the city girls come here on the weekend to go up like it’s Tuesday if you know what I mean

Facility and rooms have just been remodeled throughout. New floors, blind shutters, paint and bathrooms fixtures are chic and modern. The ocean theme mural on the patio goes perfect with the patio furniture and area.

Due to covid19 safety issues there was no continental breakfast.
