The bar was Nice!

You charge for your breakfast and do not offer a continental breakfast. There is a Cracker Barrel, and a Waffle House LITERALLY, within walking distance of the hotel. But you all choose to charge for breakfast. That makes no sense. We also would’ve liked to enjoy the pool however we were informed that the pool has been down for over two years due to costs. Do not advertise or show pictures of a pool you all do not have!

The room was comfortable and well-appointed. The bathroom was smallish but comfortable as well. Great complimentary soaps (Dove brand). The bed was amazingly comfortable after driving in from Myrtle Beach. The breakfast was hearty and inexpensive. Also loved the numerous ports and outlets and cute seating around the room. Very close to great dining options.

The restaurant menu for dinner was super basic and has no seafood options at all. The heating and cooling was a little off, but turning the thermostat to 75 helped a lot.

The front desk was excellent, very friendly reception associates. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nice pillows too.

Breakfast was not included in our stay. I actually sent my teenage daughter down to get breakfast, because what hotel doesn't offer free breakfast..... and she came back to the room very embarrassed that she did not have money with her and the staff was not kind to her when she inquired about if breakfast was free. My only complaint about my room was that there was no privacy shade... just the shear curtain, I prefer to have blinds or a solid curtain to shut.

Ease of booking online. Last minutes booking, booked online at midnight, arrived 10 minutes later. Easy check in, front staff was incredibly welcoming professional and helpful. Clean, comfortable room.

Generally we stay at holiday inn as we travel once a year from Arizona to rocky mount north. This is the only holiday inn that you pay for your meal for breakfast price a little high

The price

Location was great in relation to Interstate 95, having a restaurant on site was great, and place was very clean and quiet.

Wait staff in the restaurant in the evening was poor - couldn’t understand request for a simple cocktail, got the order wrong, and then charged the wrong credit card for my companion’s meal.

The convenience of location in our travels. The cleanliness of the hotel.

We chose the option of having breakfast included when we booked the hotel. We received a voucher for $20 from the hotel. The booking and confirmation did not mention a monetary cap. The hotel stated that there was nothing they could do but we could contact Booking.com. It is a bit misleading and clarification on what breakfast actually includes should be stated. We had a party of four. The pool was not open due to repair; this was one of the reasons the hotel was chosen.

Staff very professional and accommodating.,

Desk person who checked us in forgot to tell me I needed to call to request clean towels. Had to wait till the next morning after we’d already been there a full day.

Staff was professional and always helpful ..a truly positive experience!

Few very minor maintenance issues that staff noted with care and was extremely interested in learning about.

excellent location off I 95. very clean. excellent comfortable beds. management went out of their way by changing us to handicapped accessible room when one in our party ( who is partially handicapped)struggled with the height of the bed in the regular rooms.
