Staybridge Suites Wilmington East, an IHG Hotel

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was nice to have the separate sleeping and living areas. Also, the kitchenette was great. Location was close to shopping and attractions but still out of the way and in a quiet neighborhood.

The breakfast offerings were incredibly unappealing and were not indicative of the price paid for our accommodations. The food was at best, adequate. The mini omelettes were particularly bad and tasted of plastic. The cleanliness of the room was very good, however, I did find trash from a previous guest under the dresser in the bedroom and the baseboards in the bathroom could use a scrubbing. The bathroom was also missing tissues.

Coffee was good! We pretty much stuck to cereal and a bagel. But the breakfast area was at least clean. Our room was very clean and had great amenities!

The hot breakfast was not good at all! Home fries are the worst I've ever had, the sausage links are bricks, The eggs are okay! We pretty much stuck to cereal and a bagel. But the breakfast area was at least clean. The air conditioner in our room was extremely loud. What we had to leave it running continuously just to keep it cool enough.

The room was extremely spacious and the bed was comfortable. Free parking was very convenient and there was always someone helpful at the reception desk.

The location was convenient for the UNC campus but certainly not the place to be to enjoy the town or the beach. Our bathroom had several issues, including no working ventilation and a leaking shower.

We loved the rooms (we had 3 rooms for 4 days), very comfortable and peacdful!

The breakfast servers were borderline rude about the masks and one of the people who checked us in wasn't helpful, but the young guy that was helping went the extra mile to help us!

The staff was nice and helpful. Parking was great. The bed was comfortable. It was very peaceful in the evenings. Close to everything. We could walk to get something to eat.

The bathroom did not have a fan. There was a lot of dog feces from other guests not cleaning up after their dogs. I was not told about the dog fee until the next day and they just put in on the bill.

The location and layout is very simple and central to everything you could need to do in Wilmington. 20 mins from Wrightsville Beach and connected to all the main roads made getting around really easy. My roommate and I loved our stay here, well worth the money and not excessively priced.

The dishwashers work but they don’t clean the dishes. Hotel was out of liquid soap so we couldn’t get them clean for the next guests, likely why they were dirty when we arrived. DVD player didn’t work which wouldn’t matter for regular guests but we stayed for eight nights so we did watch some movies, they brought us one that worked but didn’t have a remote which was a minor inconvenience. Other than that the facilities were really clean and great service by the Hotel staff

The breakfast was nice.The “social” in the evening was an expected perk.Beer and wine with snacks. We have never found a hotel chain that allows dogs and is so clean, no dog smell and no perfume smelling rooms. Everyone was friendly and fun to meet. Our dog was used to artificial turf.. it looked so nice and doggy bag stations were in several locations. The rooms are large with full kitchens and a bar with chairs. The lobby and social room were decorated for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. Kudos to the staff!

Waffles or pancakes would be a nice choice. The current toilets could be updated with taller heights. I personally would prefer the staff to wear shirts/ sweaters with official logo to go along with such a stylish facility.

Wonderful stay! Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Breakfast was minimal, didn’t like the mini quiche, would’ve preferred regular eggs. We chose to eat out each day. TV channel selections were minimal, not as many stations to choose from during down time.

The room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is dog-friendly but did not smell like dogs. It was very clean.

I did not receive a receipt at check-out. The clerk said Booking.com would email it to me. I checked out nearly 3 days ago and still have not received a receipt.

I really liked that the bedroom had a door to separate it from the living room. The room was very spacious.

The room was just thrown together. There were items in the dishwasher, bureau and dresser. It looked like there was a party in the room the night before. A lot of food still on the counters, picture frame by counter and other areas. After I cleaned the room, it was great.
