Best Western Plus Wilmington / Wrightsville Beach

Pool was great, front desk attendants were very kind and helpful. Location was convenient for both downtown and beach trips. Also has a reasonably good complimentary breakfast, and nice open eating space.

When we arrived, the room we were given the bathroom looked to have been missed by cleaning staff. There was still stuff in the toilet, the floor and tub were dirty. When we told Staff, they immediately offered another room. Cleaning staff also started to clean our room before we checked out while we were eating breakfast downstairs, and threw out all our road trip snacks that were in the fridge and on the counter. That was a bummer, but again they offered complimentary snacks from their stuff which was kind, but doesn't fit with our diet constrictions.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Pool was relaxing. This was probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in.

After staying in your hotel for 6 days I checked out I went to the airport and after a 6hr wait my flight was cancelled. I was exhausted and needed to book another hotel stay for 8hrs. I called Best Western and explained my situation to hopefully get a better rate due to this mishap but that didn't happen. The person taking my call said there was nothing he could do and those were the rates.

It was conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. It was a few miles away from the beach. It had a nice size pool and it was clean with plenty of seating. The property is pet friendly. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

There was only 1 person available during check in at 3:00 pm. The room was not very clean. Even though it was pet friendly, they neglected to tell you there was a non refundable charge!! The room keys, both of them, rarely worked the outside doors. Even new ones.

Good location. Friendly staff and helpful. Nice variety of breakfast items. Enjoyed the quietness and location of my room.

The only issue I had with my stay was the animal smell in my room. You could easily smell a dog scent coming from the carpet that was aweful for someone like myself who does not have animals. The carpets need to be cleaned better since animals are allowed to stay as well.

There was a lady named Erin on day shift on the 16th when we came in that could not have been more helpfull or been friendlier if she tried and was the same throughout the week she made our stay great. The breakfast was great the pool was kept up great all missing supplies from above were gotten immediately

When we got settled we found that supplies were not there no tp. No tissues no hand soap no cups no hairdryer all gotten quickly would not affect my staying there again I loved my stay otherwise room was very clean

Breakfast was ok... biscuits, gravy,eggs sausage, should be standard EVERY morning..

Pool need to be cleaned early morning... Check in should be around one at least... Mattress was way soft, maybe need to replace some. Would be GREAT TO HAVE TWO CHAIRS (SITTING) IN EACH ROOM SO TWO HAVE A SEAT INSTEAD USING BED AS ONE! love seat would do..

The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a very nice selection for breakfast. My daughter loved the pancake maker. She said the pancakes were the best. I thought the location was going to be to far away from the beach, but it was perfect. 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the historical district. It was really in the middle of everything.

I would have liked the front desk staff to be more knowledgeable about local attractions.

Very limited but what was available was good.

No daily maid service because of “COVID”…… so when you needed towels had to go to front desk.

Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was central to our visit. Close to Costco and Sam's

Cleanliness could have been better in halls and under air condition unit. Exposed wires under air condition. Wires were capped, but visible. Not enough towels and washcloths for entire stay. extra given when requested except for once.

The breakfast was what you expect at a hotel. It was good. Hot omelets, potatoes and sausage. If I had a complaint it would have been the sausage was salty. Yogurt, fruit etc What I loved was the coffee machine. They had lots of choices from coffee to hot chocolate. Offered 24/7.

Better coffee in the room. There is never enough sugar or creamers in those little packets.
