The property is clean, newly renovated and just an absolute diamond in the rough. My son and I have stayed in a few locations recently in portage/summit counties and this hotel was the lowest priced and the CLEANEST , MOST COMFORTABLE, QUIET, and where we felt the SAFEST, of all 4 of them! The staff is kind and attentive, the beds are comfortable clean and new! The floors in the room have planking in lieu of carpet which is what you want to see in a shared space. The shower water pressure is incredible. 10/10 our new go to place to stay! Thank you for having us and thank you for taking pride in being a hospitality company!!

Other than the lack of pool/gym, nothing. I do believe these things are being added now during renovations on the 2nd building on the property. The first building has been renovated already and that is where we stayed. Ee also did not hear any construction or noise. truly we have NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL.

Extremely comfortable bed, good vanity space around the sink, very soft towels, laminate floor. Price was very reasonable compared to other area lodging. Caitlyn was super helpful at check-in.

Took a long time to get hot water in the shower and the pressure wasn’t great. No stopper in the sink so we had to be careful not to drop anything. Most hotels have some form of grab bar in the shower (even in rooms not designated as accessible) but this one didn’t—perhaps that will be part of future remodeling. In spite of these few issues, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

There’s no word to describe how kind of the hotel owner!They really care about you. My order was canceled before I get there since they can’t reach out with me. And at that time I can’t find any available room in any hotel around there. To be honest, I was mad with them firstly, but when they saw me sleep in my car. They came to find me and gave me a free room to take rest after someone checked out. Although it’s very late I only can sleep few hours. But it’s really important to me! Anyway it’s a perfect choice! And they really love dog!

The staff had a family atmosphere and were available and extremely helpful. They had security in the parking lot and the location was large enough for a big truck. The beds were very comfortable and the room was CLEAN! It was also conveniently close to the major highway. In the morning, the breakfast that was included had variety and was delicious.

People will tell you that it was not new construction. This is true but the remodeled areas were spot on! Excellent job!!!

They provided a real breakfast, hot waffles, and juices to take on the road. Their attention to the needs of those that stayed there was greatly appreciated, and it made you feel welcome. I was not overcharged for having pets; they are really pet-friendly.

I liked everything that I booked a second trip the same day, will be leaving shortly for business, and the location is very close to the freeway, so even though the construction is a mess, I don't mind it knowing that the Royal Inn is easy to get to.

Large room, very comfortable bed, lots of vanity space around the sink, lighted bathroom mirror, good shower, super soft towels, absolutely loved the wood-look laminate floor (so much more sanitary than carpet), everyone at the front desk was terrific. Special thanks to Mike for getting us into a room on the ground floor.

A little bit of noise from the room next door, otherwise we were very pleased with our stay and would return.

very clean!!! They are definitely updating the place so fare very nice!!! Staff was amazing and friendly!!! very comfortable, I’m a owner operator with a large truck and parking was a breeze,plenty of parking ! place was quite and cozy, highly recommend this place , price was perfect.. will definitely stay here next time I am up here..

honestly I’m not peaky at all but if I must would recommend checking out shower heads and handles out sides that tiny thing really enjoyed my stay

Best deal in the area. Please don't let it go down once y'all get up and running. If you keep the prices down, quality high, and riff-raff away, I will stay here every time I am in town. And I come to town quite a bit.

We actually don't have any complaints. I will say that The current renovations make the stay a bit challenging, but we understand that when complete the upgrades will be worth the trouble. I hope they don't raise the prices. I will be making other mentions on facebook and Google.

The place in the midst of a full renovation. Our room was still in process but was fine. The proprietar was cordially and interested in making sure we were taken care of. The parking lot needs some work but I think the owner is doing everything he possible can fiscally to bring the property back a 2020 expectation and standard. Our room was clean and with no orders or sign of previous pets.

It was pet friendly. Front desk was very friendly. Looks like the owners are renewing the place. Outside looks run down, but the room was very clean and comfortable

The bed frame made a drum sound when you turned over in bed. Water temperature in the shower cus but be adjusted warmer.
