Budget Inn Columbus

I liked the ease of the check in process and how easy it is to renew the room for the night. Very close to the Highway (270). The room was clean, the heat worked very well, and the bed was comfy. I will be staying here next time I venture to Columbus!

The only thing that was mildly annoying is the hotel has this weird "no guest" policy. I assume this is to deter people from hiring "ladies of the night" (if you catch my drift). The only downside to this is I do not get to come home (Columbus) very often and I like to have guests over to spend time with. This policy deters that. But, it is my only complaint with the property.

Owners were very helpful. Thought I had not received receipt when checking out and owner quickly gave me another. Found out later when going through wallet that he had indeed given me a receipt the night before. Pizza and ice cream place a couple doors down is worth a visit.

No breakfast. Location central for my needs Housekeeping done daily. Beds made daily, fresh towels daily, trash removed daily. Very inexpensive

The desk man wanted me to pay for room again, I said i paid on line ,he kept me about 15 min. wanting my card.

Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and updated.Room was much cheaper than the rooms at sciotodowns which by the way is 3/4 a mile away. They also allow pets! It's off the beaten path so to speak but close to I-270 interstate. There's a gas station right next door and Kroger a few miles down the road. Had a microwave and refrigerator plus a nice size tv. Was clean and had new carpet. So much better than paying $138 a night down the road! Great value!

The laundry room cost way too much!

The staff was very friendly even though we arrived at 1 am! Check-in was quick and we were in our room fast. Although it is an older hotel and a few things were worn, it was very clean and everything worked. I found the bed and pillows very comfortable (though my husband and son like a less firm mattress). Overall, this was a great deal for the price we paid - efficient, friendly and clean.

The only thing I didn’t like was the heat was blasting when we arrived. There did not seem to be a way to turn it off (or at least one we could find as tired as we were) so we had to turn the AC on at full blast also and that took a while to cool. the room down.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. Check-in was easy and it was a good price for what it is. The room was clean and had a mini fridge.

There isn't much around the hotel but it is a quick drive into Columbus. There are not any extra amenities which is okay since it's inexpensive to stay here.

I really enjoyed the property. The room was spacious and I liked how the property wasn’t right in the middle of any big cities.

The woman on the property in the office was a little rude but the man in the office was very nice and friendly! The beds weren’t the most comfortable.

Though older & dated, the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The guy at the front desk was amazing. Thank you!

Only things we didn't like were that there was no trash can in the bathroom. And that getting out of the lot is not for the faint of heart.

The staff is always courteous and friendly. They make sure everything you need is in order before they let you head to your room. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I have stayed twice and have not been disappointed at all!!! I won't hesitate to stay again. The price is amazing and affordable.
