Great location! Room was nice, roomy. Cute fireplace although WAY too warm to use that! Breakfast was really good, well stocked. The staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive! The pool was nice and warm. Cute area to relax around a fire. Overall really nice experience and we will 100% stay here everytime we are in the area!

Only complaints, the tub wasnt super clean. Was hair around edges in tub/soap holder and a friendly lil spider who had made a home above the shower. The remotes for tvs were a pain! Kept switching the input to static and the remotes werent wanting to switch back. And there were separate remote for tv/direct tv....but only 1 for the direct tv which is what changes the channels. So had to share that remote between the front room and the bedroom, which was inconvenient at night but we made it work.

The location was good. Not to far from Cedar Point or Put in Bay. We were there for Bash on the Bay. Our room was nice. Had a sitting arra with couch and fireplace. Breakfast was good the first morning. After that, they ran out of food the next 2 mornings. We loved the firepit area.

They ran out of food on our 2nd and 3rd mornings. We were down there early. No bagels, muffins. Toaster wasn't working and waffle maker wasn't working half the time.

I didn’t realize it but I booked a suite room which was an unexpected good surprise. For the price I didn’t expect it to be so cheap but it was perfect. We had a little living room area before entering the bed room. We were traveling with our 2 year old and our 3 month old and it worked out perfectly because I could place the bassinet in the little living room area and baby wasn’t woken up by dad or big brother. Since it was the closes to the door I just slept on the couch with him because I wasn’t comfortable even with the baby monitor to have him behind a closed door closes to the hotel door and the couch was surprisingly comfortable. The bed in flipped out into was not, and I’m short. So I think if you were taller you would want to bring a mattress topper if you plan to sleep on the pull out. Other wise you’ll have a bar in your back. Our room was clean and it was so quiet because the suite was tucked back into a corner at the end of the hallway. Since the road is so close I was worried about noise. We did bring noise makers and we didn’t hear the road or other guests. Breakfast was really good and convenient. If we are ever in Sandusky again we would stay here.

The only thing we did not like was there is no elevator. Honestly if we didn’t have small kids this wouldn’t have been an issue as we are young and capable of taking the stairs. But we didn’t know when booking that there is no elevator to help us cart up all the toddle and baby things to our room. If you have issues with stairs just book on the first level and you’ll have no issue.

The staff is hands down the best! There were some unruly guests near our room upon check in and the gentleman working the front desk handled it so swiftly! Then in the morning we got a late start due to waking up with an unexpected heat rash from a day at cedar point. Tending to it made us miss breakfast but the lady working the area and cleaning sat my daughter and I down and served us herself. That level of hospitality is unmatched! She also gave me tips for my heat rash and showed genuine care and concern for us. Love love love this place! They treat you family!!

Some unruly guests made us feel uncomfortable at check in but it was handled so fast that we felt comfortable again right away.

We took our kids to Cedar Point and stayed at the hotel afterward. The hotel is only 5 miles from CP, so about 10 minutes. It was a great price and the hotel was clean and comfortable. They have a nice outdoor pool with a fireplace under a pergola. The continental breakfast was really good. It included eggs, sausage, bagels, waffles, fruit, cereal, juices, and coffee. I would definitely recommend it and we will stay again when we come back to the park next year!

My kids went in the pool in the late evening and said that it had too much chlorine. So they got out after 15 minutes. Other than that, everything was great.

The whole experience was great the hotel was actually sold out and we rarely saw or heard other guests unless at breakfast. It was so great. The room was a suite and just wonderful, large very clean, modern. Very comfortable. Our mini fridge wasn't working when we arrived but one call to the desk and it was fixed in 10 minutes. They were also very considerate of my feather allergy and made sure there were no feathers when the room was made up and was even careful when bring up extra pillows

No complaints, it was honestly one of the best stays I have ever had already booked again for my long 4 say trip

We slept in, so did not participate in breakfast. Upon looking at dining hall and checkout it looked like a really good spread tho. The beds and room were spacious and comfy. Property has the world’s best blackout curtains! 🥰

This part isn’t really the properties fault, but the shower head had been loosened by a previous patron and was spraying everywhere so it took some finagling. The shampoo in the room were very very small, and we chose not to walk back to lobby for more.

Central to all our activities. Love the room, comfortable and close to the breakfast area. AC unit next to Bathroom instead of beds. Great. Breakfast menu standard to most other facilities. Something new, different would be nice.

Breakfast could be better in the egg omelet offerings were warm at best. Last day scrambled were excellent.

Staff was friendly even though they were busy. All appeared to be very clean - nice.

Your toilets are too short. I have leg and hip issues and had to push off of the tub and sink to stand up. There are a lot of people out there who may be too tall, have issues like mine or are handicapped. Also, a grab bar at each end to get in and out of the shower would be nice. Its not just older folks that have mobility problems. Fixing these issues would make staying there a lot more pleasant.

Always get the best sleep here. The new bedding is top notch!! Location is great for Cedar Point and the parking lot in the back is tucked away and gives you such a safe feeling. Fire pit area is gorgeous! My biggest rave is the customer service. My daughter left an item in our room that got wrapped into the bedding and ended up in the laundry. They committed to searching and found it and even offered to ship it to us! They texted with me back and forth through the process which I found to be incredibly convenient. There were a few negatives to our stay but this level of customer service and genuine care will absolutely bring us back!

Either our room (226) is still in the middle of an update process or it left some room for more improvements needed. The carpet was sticky and gross. The color of the blue on the wall was just wild and off putting (didn’t match the LaQuinta blue) especially up against the weird color rose jacuzzi that belongs in the 70’s. There was hair on the shower walls and somehow hair in the freezer not even sure how that happens. The toilet was hard to flush. The biggest pain was having to walk to breakfast since we were in the detached building out back.
