Comfort Inn Sandusky

My second floor room was VERY nice. The room was updated, clean and fresh. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the separate bathroom/vanity setup created a nice sense of home away from home. The vanity was very large, making morning prep a breeze. Water pressure in the shower was great, and hot water readily available. The breakfast had a good variety of options, and the staff was attentive and friendly, resolving any concerns I had to my complete satisfaction.

Parking was spacious, but there were very few spaces available near the lobby, which I preferred to use over the side entrances because I was traveling alone. However if I arrived early, there were spaces available near enough to the lobby that I felt safe.

Breakfast room was great! Lot of space and very clean. Food was plentiful and good. Our room was very clean and the bedding looked new and clean. Beds were comfortable and pillows were plentiful and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We had trouble with our room keys. We ended up getting 3 sets of cards before they worked properly. I wish that there had been a tv channel guide and our tv remote control needed new batteries. The tech took care of this very quickly.

Room was fine. It was clean and comfortable.

There was an exterior door to our room leading to a patio with tables and chairs. Teens decided that was their party spot until 1:00am making a lot of noise, cussing, bumping chairs against our wall and windows. The management needs to monitor this area closely and have a curfew for unaccompanied kids. Also stop the noises after 11:00 pm near the pool area. Thanks

The staff was very friendly had some delay in check in but we didn't mind sometimes stuff happens. The location was great right beside the fireworks store restaurants everywhere for at least 3-5 miles around so when my kids got hungry the longest it took to get to a restaurant was 4 minutes. Near nikle plate beach was a plus you had the maritime museum near the docks it was a great place to visit with 5 boys.

I stayed two nights to go to cedar point very close I love that part love the fact that it was a gas station right across the street for snacks. The pools look nice and clean I didn't get to utilize it though. This stuff was nice the man who checked me in was awesome and then two ladies who's there during the days or really friendly housekeeping was really nice hey I put my towels in the hallways and asked if I can just have towels for the next day whenever cuz we're going to be gone all day I came back to clean towels and my dirty towels was taken. Breakfast was great the first day we got there early so we got to enjoy everything the second day you didn't get any cuz we got there late around 9:00 so if you going to go be there around 7:00 no later than 8:30. I would definitely stay again so that I can utilize the pool 😊

I would have gave him a nine but my son left his favorite t-shirt and a pair of jeans we went back to the hotel probably about an hour and a half later instead of holding it to see if we will return for anything they threw it away. He has something important in the pocket. I feel they should have given at least till the end of the day. But other than that everything was great it would have been a 10 if his stuff didn't get thrown away. Also wish one of the pools opened before check out.. we got in late and leave b4 it open . Wanted a swim before checking out .I do other hotels.. but I won't point that😊

I have stayed at this location many times. Staff are usually friendly. Location is convenient

I realize people don't work during the holiday and weather was terrible but it would have been helpful if there had been at least a maintenance person available to attempt to clear the sidewalk and the entrance to the building so that I could get my 108 yr old mother out to the car. Also a suggestion,. it would help if there was more than one small waste basket. Add one to the bathroom ???

Staff was very helpful and friendly Room was a good size and comfortable Indoor and outdoor pool It was pretty quiet Over all good place to stay

The only complaints we have is pretty much all the plugins in the room needs replaced they was loose and wear out and the smell of marijuana was pretty strong at times which don't get me wrong nothing wrong with that it's just they should be considerate of the other guests and children and smoke it outside they should have to follow the same rules as the cigarette and vape smokers

They had indoor an outdoor pools with plenty of sitting, hot tub, the breakfast was amazing , need to to get there early, it’s only from 730-930, items go quick, had eggs sausage waffles, cereal toast yougurts fresh fruits, juices, very nice free breakfast

They had baseball travel teams in the hotel for tournaments, they were a little loud at night but the staff kept them shut down in the hallways to keep noise down

Facility was well taken care of. You could tell there were people there trying to keep the facility nice, as the hotel is in a tourist area and is used quite a bit. I also appreciate that the parking was very convenient for the room we were in.

Check in staff felt like they rushed us through the process, despite there was no line or anyone else needing help. I didn't get a chance to ask any questions, even if I did have them. Also, the patio outside our room seemed a little run down and neglected.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and it was 5 minutes to Kalahari where we went for colossalcon. Breakfast was okay not the best but was still filling and good

They had problems with the toilets flushing unfortunately but they had a good guy come in fix it (it was low-key embarrassing to call about that and had to go to the front desk for )
