Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel

room was amazingly clean, and quiet. entire facility was really clean and well kept. All the employees were very nice and welcoming.

The parking garage is pretty far away and has a crazy skinny curbed entrance that was very hard to navigate with my F150 :) But its not their garage, its just the nearest one. They have Valet parking, so you can avoid parking nuisances if you prefer.

Very nice location. The hotel overall is aesthetically pleasing, especially the rooftop bar/restaurant. The staff and valet were helpful and kind.

The room itself was nice and decorated well aligned with the hotels theme, however, the bathroom was not very clean. There was hair on the toilet seat and in the shower, and also stains on the bathroom walls. Definitely not appreciated give the price of this hotel.

We stayed in the corner king suite. It was kinda neat getting up in the morning and it was SO foggy you couldn’t see anything, actually looked really cool. The guy working valet night shift 1/1/23 was so nice & friendly.

Only complaint was the girl working the front desk 1/1/23 2nd shift. Such a pretty girl with a bad attitude. such a shame. Other than that .. stay was perfect. beautiful all around.

Location, rooms

Staff wasn't prepared to support marathon runners and were not advised that you were an event hotel. Didnt have enough valets for morning of the racs to get cars for the runners, only 1 staff for awhile. Front desk wouldnt accommodate late checkouts for runners. No coffee bar open for pre race runners.

After arriving around 4pm it took around an hour for the room to finish cleaning after the wait the staff took a % off the room total for our stay and gave us complementary drinks to redeem at their bar

the room cleaning took a fair bit but was well compensated for without having to ask or talk to anyone the valet was ran by what seemed to be collage aged adults seemed a bit overwhelmed but got the job done

Great location on the river. Hotel restaurant was very good and convenient. River walk was a very nice amenity. Valet parking attendants were very helpful especially for as tight as the parking location was.

Tight parking but the valet attendants help make up for the challenge.

Overall it was great experience. Clean rooms and the staff were wonderful. The view was overseeing some bldg next door which was fine, we weren't there for the view, wanted clean room.

Apparently there is a gold cart shuttle from hotel to Huntington Center. We walked both ways and it was cold and snowy for a few blocks. But if they had mentioned it at reception or something that would have been nice to know about.

Liked the view, the staff were all very nice, good restaurants in house and around, location is fun this time of year. room was comfortable and we slept well.

long lines of mildew in shower tile, door to bathroom wouldn’t shut, closet doors unable to open, very dirty windows, not easy to get to the car if needed since valet only.

Handy location to Huntington Center.

There was some lack of attention to detail in the cleaning of the room, but not a big enough deal to make a fuss over. considering the $300 price tag for the night (a large event was in town justifying the cost) having the room spotless (with no empty condom packaging and a leftover towel from the previous guests) would have been a nice touch.

Love the valet service! After driving from northern Michigan the last thing I wanted to do was find my own parking so I greatly appreciate this service! The pizza was amazing and adult beverages were even better! The view from our corner room was absolutely beautiful! A great place for us on our honeymoon!!
