Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Urbana

Location was fantastic, close to restaurants and entertainment opportunities. But for enough away so the rooms are quiet. Breakfast meals was wonderful. A great variety of foods, that were accessible and kept warm and filled. Very clean and delicious. Room was clean, smelled clean as we entered, but not chemically saturated. We had plenty of room to relax and rest after our trip.

My only wish was that pets stayed free. As they are a part of families. We certainly don't want to leave them behind or have to spread a already tight budget, even tighter.

The room is a very nice size and it included a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Plenty of outlets and decent free wifi. The room temperature was easy to control and we had plenty of comfortable pillows and blankets. The room was clean and we didn't hear any of our neighbors except for those walking around on the floor above us, but it wasn't bad. The view from our room was pleasant. There was a lounge and an outdoor seating area but we did not utilize either. The location is safe and close to a convenience store/ gas station. There are many nice locally owned restaurants in town along with a nice assortment of antique stores.

The beds were harder than I like. There was an office chair but no other chair. I also wish there would be grab bars in the shower. I realize many hotels do not have these but it would be a nice addition. Not sure if it was worth the price we paid for a Wednesday evening but it was convenient and we would stay again

Newer property, good location, staff was friendly and helpful.

Requested upper floor; room was on first which would’ve been fine except guest overhead stomped back and forth incessantly and dropped heavy items on the floor well after midnight. Sounded like they were coming through the floor/ceiling at times, but that was the guest’s fault not the hotel. Bathroom floor needed mopped.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the beds gave us the best nights of sleep we've had in years!

The Direct TV was crap. Initially we thought it was the TV and remote in our room so they let us switch to another room and it kept losing signal. My husband watches TV in bed at night to unwind and he was so angry. Also the tub in the second room was unlevel and he almost fell which also upset him.

Variety of breakfast was decent. Hotel was clean, beds comfy, pool was decent as the hotel was not crowded. Could use a hot tub. Wifi was decent as it wasn't crowded so the network wasn't over loaded.

Quality of food is terrible. It was like eating gas station food. Sausage was gross. Can't complain too much for free though. Considering the area, the rates were a little high for the room. Tough when it is the only hotel in town, but being all brand new was nice. Direct Tv was terrible. Went out half a dozen times in a 3 night stay for extended periods. Cable is always better in the long run.

There were plenty of breakfast options, although the eggs and meat looked a bit sketchy to me. Our room was clean and large, very comfortable. The pool area was clean with lots of towels and chairs available. The entry, lobby, and outside areas were all clean and welcoming.

The shower in our handicap room was so low pressure it took a while to rinse the long hairs off the walls of the stall. (That was the only thing that wasn’t cleaned perfectly) I thought it oodd at first that there was nobody at the front desk and you had to call to have someone come, but they were never far away. I understand more now that there were just a few people taking care of that whole main floor plus other areas and it was fine.

The room smelled nice when we walked in, the AC was on and the room was comfortable. The room was nicely laid out with good lighting. The breakfast was hot and the food was fresh.

We, unfortunately, were on the same floor as a family that let their children run wild up and down the halls. It did quiet down around 9pm but trying to relax before that was not in the cards. The lounge wasn't open when we were there but it was Sunday so I don't fault them for that.

The property was very clean ! Beautiful room , clean , great breakfast !

My son is autistic and hearing impaired so he’s naturally loud . We were in a disabled room for that reason . Woman worker came to the room saying that he was being too loud which wouldn’t have been a big deal if she wasn’t incredibly rude about it , threatening to call her manager ! It was 4 pm so it’s not like it was at night when everyone was asleep . Her manager said there was nothing she could do because he’s disabled in a DISABILITY room that reads hearing impaired ! I would love to recommend this to other friends and family but I wouldn’t want them being treated poorly for having a disability .

management was a little harsh with rules. I witnessed a staff member (I assumed a manager) approach mothers of a dance team and take their non alcoholic beverage and stated “no beverages” I thought she could have informed the mothers and allowed them to do the proper thing. she also came up to me in an abrupt manor and attempted to take my vitamin water…I left with with my water.

Breakfast was good. Rooms and hallways were quiet.

I didn't like that we had to get our own bath and coffee supplies. I requested to come in the room with supplies but didn't realize I needed to request it everyday. I didn't like that someone was not at the desk at all times.
