Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Marysville, an IHG Hotel

This hotel was very nice, a typical recently-built hotel in part of Marysville off the highway with other hotels next door. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Delicious cinnamon rolls in the morning. :)

Strangely, our first morning, a Saturday morning, there was no milk, batter, and some other things at breakfast. So there wasn't much to eat for the many guests. When I asked, "Why didn't someone just go to the grocery store?" the reply was, "Well, we're a cashless hotel, and it would have been hard to work out how to pay for things." Huh.

the pool, it was salt water. it hurt your skin, your eyes and changed the color of your clothes. there should be a warning up. especially for those who have special needs children who open there eyes up under water, or may not close their mouths all the way when going under water. my sons eyes hurt so bad, that it literally looked like he was crying when he actually wasn’t.

Clean. Nice room. Breakfast was ok. Shopping, gas, and food close.

No outdoor pool or chairs outside. Did not like employees out front of main entrance under a no smoking sign, SMOKING! You got a big breath of it just walking by. It was a constant coming in and out of hotel for our 3 day stay.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating o so many ways.

Website said they had a hot breakfast. They didn’t have hot breakfast, obviously due to Covid. It has been going on for 15 months. Not sure why website or Booking.com site hadn’t been updated to tell us there wasn’t hot breakfast. We had four small children with us and it threw us a curveball when we went down to the lobby expecting breakfast. Muffins don’t cut it for young kids. And this big kid doesn’t even like muffins.

The breakfast wasn't very impressed, the first morning there wasn't hardly anything left at 9 and then the second morning there was more but no oatmeal, both mornings the eggs were dry and the sausage was greecey. Also the Clark and the website said we didn't have to be out till 12 and they came up and told us it was 11. Needs to be changed.

Hello 🤗 … we were surprised how comfortable our king size bed was and no noise from outside- super quiet at night! Breakfast also was delicious especially those warm cinnamon rolls! Recommending and I am not sure why on Booking.com the hotel has only 2 stars ??

The room was wonderful very spacious, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable!! The bathroom was very clean also plenty of room. Really was a great hotel to stay at! I really liked the fact the pool was open also! The guys at the front desk were very nice also!

Only complaint was the shower I think it needs fixed when u pull up on the handle for the shower to come on it sprays out of the faucet still which makes the shower head pressure not very strong.

Bed comfort and pillows. clean, shower soaps and etc.. breakfast was good but closes to early.. nice having a couple good chairs to sit in.. thank you for a great stay

The fact I couldnt get points for my stays unless I booked thru the IHG app and paid more instead of saving money thru booking.com membership shouldnt give u points if you buy them

In the middle of a renovation and had to keep blinds closed for privacy from painters. Staff, while friendly, were not the best communicators.
