The Skirvin Hilton Oklahoma City

We love the Skirvin! it’s beautiful throughout, it’s in a GREAT location, the staff are impeccable. It was a perfect place to spend NYE!

Loud neighbors with loud TV woke us up early in the morning. The previous guest left weed butts in our Kleenex box. I pulled out a tissue and it stank with weed. Tore open the box and there were 2 weed roaches. Also, the restaurant and room service had only a limited menu. Not many other restaurant choices on New Year’s Eve and Day, as everything was closed in downtown OKC. We had been looking forward to good food at the Park Grill, but ended up with a so-so burger.

The atmosphere of the Classic Hotel was great. The staff starting with the Valet (Blake) going out of his way explaining the parking, to the Staff at the Red Piano (Melody) ensuring we had good beverages. The staff of the Park Avenue Grill (Evan and Brandy) were very friendly and even explained the history of this iconic hotel. we completely enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend this experience to everyone.

The restoration is amazing! I seek out historical hotels and this one definitely made me happy. Great price, too. The lobby and room was much better than I had expected. The room was large and very well appointed in period furniture. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to my midnight arrival. The sandwich I bought at the front desk was remarkably fresh and delicious. checked in a midnight, out at 8am. Really sorry I couldn't stay longer and explore everything this hotel has to offer.

The bed was comfortable. I liked the lobby area and the live music at the bar.

When booking through booking.com, the hotel desk explained that the way it charged me caused it to double bill me ($200 ) for deposit on incidentals. They corrected it but I didn't see it reflect on my bank until that Monday. Beings that it was on Valentine's weekend, I'm just glad I didn't need the funds. The towels seemed small, and rough, and there was no mini fridge in the room. It didn't claim to have one, but for near $250 a night, expected more.

Location was close to the airport and many restaurants. Like the ease of walking to many of the surrounding sights. The fitness center was well equipped and love the fact that it is open 24-7. The water/coffee station was a welcoming extra. Also, the seating outside was a nice touch.

The pool is very small. I also wish there was a sink outside the bathroom so that multiple people in one room could get ready at the same time.

Location, close to work! Clean! Restaurant in hotel open late! Great food! Design! I'm a travel nurse and staying here after a long work week is a treat before driving home!

Upon checking out, the woman at the front desk seemed unfriendly, didn't really match the vibe of everyone else. Other than that, all other staff while checking in and during the stay was super nice!

Loved hotel. The decorations, the furniture, the heated mirror in the bathroom, the pool, gym, restaurant, everything. It was all really cool and the place is very well maintained. Tons of restaurants were close by and the city is full of art on the streets. Beautiful place! There weren't homeless people everywhere like a lot of big cities so that was nice as well. We felt safe here.

Parking... I park myself and it was $10 each time you left but I didnt leave until it was time to go. The parking garage is right next to the hotel so it really wasn't a big deal.

Despite the construction, the Skirvin was an absolute delight! From the valet, to our AMAZING host Tony, to the sweet girl who delivered our room service, to our breakfast waitress, ever single staff member I encountered was personable and eager to help. The suite we stayed in was opulent. The bedroom was beautiful furnished, plush pillows, and comfortable bed. It seemed sound proof. The location is literally right in the middle of everything and the views are breathtaking. I don’t know that I can stay anywhere else when I come to the city now. Again, Tony is FANTASTIC!!

Beautiful historical property. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room was very clean and quiet. The only downside was the lack of a mini fridge. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lack of a mini fridge is the only thing that I thought was lacking.
