Well maintained property with friendly staff and comfy beds. Close to Old town Bandon, a walkable shopping and dining area of town. Quiet Motel and town, at least Sunday and Monday nights. Nice hot water in bathroom for a bath.

I knew there was a little walk to the beach. I didn't realize how steep of an incline it would be. The Motel is in an area high on a cliff, which means you have to walk parallel to the cliff through a neighborhood for awhile and then a steep walking path to the beach. We an reasonably fit so it was fine. But I cant imagine an older person doing it. There is parking next to the beach right there too though, so that's an alternative.

The Hotel has been well looked after and reminds me of the nice coastal accommodation you can find in Cornwall in the UK. The lady who checked us in was a delight - nothing was too much trouble - including our questions about the local area and our need for an Iron, after living out of cases on our road trip. The room was spacious and clean. Ideal for wheelchair users too. The Town of Bandon is a 4 min drive away and walkable too. The Old Town is charming. Plenty of places the eat and drink, although do check opening and closing times - true coastal/countryside living - timings can change from day to day! The Italian in the Old Town is okay. The Fish and Chips on the other hand is fantastic! As is the local Pizza and Bakery place. I'm still dreaming of the spectacular Bandon beach with its stone stacks, bleached driftwood and wide expanse of sands. The Hotel perches on the rocks behind the beach - perfect.

Rug in room was a bit tacky to walk on - might need a deep clean x But rest of room was great x

The room was a good size, as well as the bathroom. Seem to be laid out well. The kitchen was also stock well with dishes and utensils. View was okay. We did see deer eating outside of our balcony a couple different times. The room seemed really quiet, and bed was comfortable. Beach was only steps away from the hotel and no need to drive to it.

Parking lot was tight when it was full, and was difficult to maneuver in and out of when it wasn't empty. The room had a kitchen, but didn't really have a space for eating. There was a small desk in the room, but it wasn't big enough for two people to sit at.

Our Pirate room was just right. Everything we needed and more were included. The attention to detail was phenomenal even having a car window washing station out side of the office. Our little deck patio faced south with birds flying and chirping and was protected from the wind. The location is right off the paved trail along the bluff with stairs down to the beach nearby. Along the trail there are many benches for looking at the view and watching the sunsets, when it is not cloudy! Be advised that there are many stairs to the beach but the stairs at this point are more moderated that the others to the south.

My only very slight comment was that using the full size 8 cup Mr. Coffee(!) was awkward to fill with water, as the microwave cabinet with storage, that included a toaster and a hot water kettle(!), limited access. I just would take it to the bathroom and fill it!

The room was pretty amazing. It was very close to the beach--900ft? It might have been a little more than that but very close. The room faced the ocean so watching the sunset was pretty amazing.

I got the lower floor room which is not my first choice of rooms because the people above were, like most people, very inconsiderate while stomping around in their room at night. I am a light sleeper and hearing people stomp around in the middle of the night is not my idea of rest. The door did not shut completely on its own. It took a little force to ensure that it shut while in or leaving the room. Risky for people who leave valuables in the room.

My teenage daughter and I drove up to the property during summer weather that had everything socked in. We were underwhelmed at first sight. We checked in, and the service immediately was outstanding… maps and details and support for whatever we might need. There was plenty of parking and we went to our two queen unit and were blown away when we opened the door… It was absolutely beautiful! Spacious and clean, and it felt bright even though outside weather was cold and gray. My daughter and I decided to just stay inside for the evening munching on things we had bought that day, watching Hulu shows on the very large flatscreen TV, all snuggled in our beds, warm and enjoying the evening. The bathroom was large, the shower was wonderful, we microwaved popcorn, and drank our wine and water that we kept chilled in the refrigerator.  We woke up the next morning to a much clearer day and saw the breathtaking beach that was just below us. After a walk, we jumped in our car and drove three minutes down the road to old town and had a wonderful breakfast. Everything was so enjoyable and so easy and such great quality. We would absolutely stay there again!

The wet weather caused some drips that we heard all night …just part of being moist and maybe opportunities to keep fine-tuning the wonderful renovations they are doing. Nothing that some soft brown noise on our phones or one of the many cushiony pillows couldn’t drown out.

Location was great and the staff were very friendly and informative about the area and recommendations. Room was nice and had a patio. Nice to have a room with a decent size garbage can compared to chain hotels. Seems like an odd comment but when traveling you fill them up and it was nice not to have it overflowing. I appreciate the second set of towels that were darker and for the purposes of cleaning up the chairs or other spills so you don’t have to use your bath towels.

Slight odor of smoke in the room but we opened the patio door and it quickly went away.

Thoroughly enjoyed my room. Large bathroom with good towels, make-up towel, and strong water pressure. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave, water heater (for tea) and coffeemaker. A small patio with 2 comfortable chairs and a table to enjoy the lovely weather. The Black-out curtains are great for sleeping. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Located within easy walking distance to Table Rock and another national seashore area with beach access. A quick drive to "Old Town" Bandon. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

we were assigned a room in the new building. The room still had a paint smell so we asked for another room. We were then given a beautiful new room overlooking the ocean.

The new building was not completed so we had the paint smell in the 1st room. We had to pay an additional amount for the new room. It should have been a complimentary move given that the building was not completed. The TV was not cable ready so we were unable to use. Rooms should have been discounted since the staff knew it was not completed.

I liked the location, the staff and the ease of coming and going both on foot and in my car. The laundry facility is a great addition. The new ice machine is great and more conveniently located. Staff is always cheerful, knowledgeable and willing to assist.

The absolute only item I noticed that made my stay less than perfect was a slight odor of old smoke in my room. Mostly noticed it when I came in off the beach or from being outside all day. I never noticed it in the bedding, towels or drawers; never noticed it on me. Just a by-product of “the old days” lingering in the walls, I’m sure.
