Excellent location and the vibe is super cool! Love the public spaces... fun, active, and social. The owners have spent some care and time thinking about the public spaces. The DJ at the canteen was incredible! The rooms are big and comfortable. Clean and easy.

The lighting at the bath counter is not good. Also, you'll need to bring your own hangers as they have only 10 coat hooks to hang your garments. The rooms are SO big.. there's totally enough room for a wardrobe, or closet bar, or maybe the same shelf unit that's in the bath on another wall with a bar for hanging clothes below. SOMETHING! They've stopped just short of making the place great by skimping on the bath... let's get them updated!

An Oasis in the middle of town. All the convenience of nearby stores and restaurants while enjoying the ambience of a resort. The hot tub and pool were a refuge after a day on the mountain. Both were heated and appointed with great music and fun lights. The fire pit was warm and welcoming - adding to the resort vibe. The guitar in every room brought out the ridiculous lyrics and cords in our party. And the sundry items in the room were.on.point. A wonderful vibe!

It's a reappointed older hotel so...the noise between rooms is a thing. But...they provide ear plugs. The fan in the bathroom was noisy, the hot water was a challenge to find. The mattress sucked- soft and lumpy. Our room smelled a bit like wet dog.Stains on the rug. But even after all these things, I'll be back 😉

Affordable and the option to have 2 bedrooms. Traveling as a mixed family, sharing one big room isn't a great option. The pool was warm and the hottub large. There was a movie and a cantina. Such a great place.

The couch wasn't the most comfortable but there were extra chairs we were able to move around easily. As a family traveling and trying to Brown bag days skiing it was challenging. Not really napkins or a way to make a sandwich. I'm sure I could have asked and they probably would have had something but we just stopped at the grocery store across the street.

How awesome are the staff here at Campfire? So much so, that I called them when I got home just to say so. This hotel used to be a motel. The remodel and rebranding of being Campfire was a genius move. The huge bonfire every night is your first clue. The folding chairs in each room, along with a fuzzy blanket to curl up in while playing one of the instruments found in your room, or up in the lobby, meeting your fellow travelers and sipping on a creative cocktail from their Cantina. The appetizers there are also YUMMMMY! The beds are comfy and the showers are hot. We live in Bend and stay here often as a StayCation. That pool is divine, and the humongous hot tub is a welcome wake-up call and wind-down for the evening. Affordable and comfortable. Yes, it's on the highway, but you don't hear the cars. And how convenient to have a full grocery store across the street! I'd move in.

The only negative that others speak of is the homeless people who live in the nearby area. This is everywhere. It's a given that you don't go wandering off on dark roads that that have no houses or open businesses. Campfire is a safe hotel with lots of cameras and staff available 24/7.

Love this place! Super fun spot with great amenities. Love the campfire theme - super fun. The room was well appointed and loved the sleeping bag on the bed and the retro folding chairs. Bar/cafe was hip and fun. The pool + hot tub area looked warm and fun , but we did not have a chance to take a dip. The roaring outdoor "campfire" was cool.

This is an old motel that has been thoughtfully updated, but a few details need attention. The sink was cracked and the faucet was loose and backwards (had a hard time getting hot water). The in room coffee/tea kettle was a nice touch, but the cord was too short and I could not find a plug that it would reach. Need to add charging ports by the bed. Room was chilly - could have used some more blankets.

I love the aesthetic of the place. It is so calm and cozy. The heated pool/hot tub are amazing and the fire pit. The orange dripping light tree is my favorite. The natural chandeliers are beautiful. The pour over coffees are delicious. The Beekman toiletries are amazing. Brooklyn for life! The proximity of the hotel to anything and everything you need or want is amazing. The lobby is awesome and they have so many things you would need. It is an affordable luxury experience. The staff is also very friendly.

I honestly think the building I stayed in is haunted haha. No biggie though. The bar needs NA beverages. The ice by the pool is dangerous as hell. A girl ate it hard. Please get some rubber mats around the entire perimeter in the freezing temps or more astroturf. I almost fell also.

This hotel has a unique vibe (complete with chic camping-inspired decor) with a large communal outdoor fireplace, a heated pool and hot tub, and a bar on premises. It's the perfect spot to stay for a quick getaway or a long trip to Bend. We enjoyed the community feel and meeting fellow travelers. It's a 3 minute drive to the river and great restaurants and 30 minutes to Mount Bachelor.

We had to circle to find parking on more than one occasion. It seems there's not much to be done about it because of space constraints, but that was the only downside.

The beds were so comfy! The pool was awesome. It was so fun to be able to swim even in the fall. It was warm enough even for the kiddo. The decor and nightly bonfires really captured the cabin/camping feel. I also left behind a pair of jeans they let me know right away and worked with me while I arranged to have a family member help me get them.

Since they do not do daily service we did have to request it a couple of times to get the trash emptied and more toilet paper. The staff were super nice though and always helped us in getting what we needed

This place was way cooler than I expected. When my buddy and I pulled in on Saturday, it was something akin to spring break. Beautiful woman going to and from their private pool area to the bar just off the lobby. Music was coming from several places and a very welcoming and friendly staff. The campfire area was really great and we met some great people there. My buddy played his guitar and there was karaoke happening up at the bar. We had a great time and I will definitely go back. Such a cool motel.

Honestly, I feel bad rating it an 8, but I was there for 3 nights and never got made service to replace things like coffee or towels. Parking was rough to find in the lot, and when I did, my car scrapped really hard on the concrete leading to the street omw out, so I had to find parking on the street and the neighborhood was a little sketchy. All was fine though

This is a great value in Bend, and we appreciated all the thoughtful details to give the former motel real character. Bedroom was thoughtfully decorated and bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. Complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. Really liked the vibe of having a big campfire outside!

The motel played music on speakers outside until 10pm. It meant that while we asked for a quiet room, it's not really quiet before 10pm - so if you are looking for a place to nap, this probably isn't it. Like most motels, there is not necessarily a lot of privacy if your window shade is open since the room looks out onto the walkway, so we kept the shade closed.
