Surfland Hotel

The view was amazing! You get a clear view of the beach. The breakfast had multiple options which super friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and spacious. It had a lot of amenities included as well such as a microwave, a small fridge, a kettle, etc.

I wish the AC worked a little better to keep the place cool, but this was solved by opening the windows and letting the fresh beach breeze in! I also wished the breakfast times could be extended a little bit more, but not a big issue.

This property was fine,however booking.com had a "glitch " and I was billed for a room I justlooked at and did not book,so all my available cash had to be used to pay for the room I did book,it was my wife's birthday and instead of going out to do things we we restricted to a very scant option of what we could do.i planned this trip over a month prior and we just did not have the funds to adapt to this issue and it was not my fault and yet I/we had to suffer the consequences of their glitch,and now I am told I have to wait up to ten days for a refund but they can take your money in ten seconds it can be refunded as fast as it was charged but it isn't? So I would recommend the surfland hotel 100% just beware of third party apps when looking for rooms look

Stayed 2 nights and got a balcony king bed room. The bed was firm and comfortable. Room was clean. There is no elevator but parking is available on the 2nd level so if you can get a space there its only one flight up. Nice facilities, firepit outside Pool and a small hottub in one indoor area. Adults only from 9-11 pm. Breakfast by Ana was tremendous. Best I have ever seen Eggs, sausage pancakes muffins cereal juices yogurt..cups of fruit. Just amazing. I enjoyed a beautiful tub in my room and soaked 2 nights..Lengthy in size and lots of hot water. I checked out a non balcony room that was open and would enjoy that also with a fireplace and nice big windows

There are stairs to beach but steep, no screens..balcony drips in the rain

The hotel is right on the beach with an amazing view. The staff was great. The room was clean, bed was comfy and there was a bigger tv in the room. Didn’t hear the neighbors at all. I like the fact that they had a little sitting area built in the wall. The shower had the shampoo/conditioner/body wash in big bottles attached to the wall which was so nice. We didn’t try the free breakfast so not sure how that was. We did you the pool and hot tub. Not to crowded. I would have loved to use the fire pit but it was snowing and super cold. It would be great in the summer. The location is good, close to everything. We would definitely stay again. It was a little more $$$ then we would normally spend but it was our anniversary so it was ok.

The newly renovated rooms are tastefully done. The breakfast was excellent and the host kept the food stocked and fresh.. The view from the room is spectacular. Staff was very helpful and attentive. We will be back.

When we first walked into our king bed room, there was only one chair to sit and enjoy the view! I went back to the lobby and asked why only one chair. The answer, management decided a king room only gets one chair. What?!! The clerk clearly didn't side with that decision and got us a chair from another room. Thank you!

Loved the access to the ocean, not a single bad view on the property. Sauna spa and pool were such a great plus to warm up in, definitely thankful we had these amenities. Room was spectacular, smaller than I expected for a “king suite” but the bed was heavenly and the room was spotless. Definitely thankful we snagged this spot up on our road trip.

Water pressure wasn’t the best and the bedroom was a little smaller than expected but overall absolutely amazing stay.

Nice and clean! Loved the view from my sweet little oceanfront deck and there were some fun features at the property like outdoor gathering area with fireplace, bocci ball court, other outdoor games, swimming pool. The neighborhood was nice to walk around and while quite long and steep it was great to have either the hotel's wood stairway to the beach or the concrete beach steps at nearby street access. There were also some good choices of wine, beer, other beverages and nighttime snacks at their lobby store along with an option to order a charcuterie board for your room.

I was traveling alone and you cannot leave your dog in your room for any reason, I was also told I could not take my dog into the buffet breakfast area so I had to skip the breakfast that had been included in my room cost for the two days I was there. The children running around in the room above me until after 11PM was challenging and I finally went out and asked people to stop playing bocci ball at about 10:45 (felt like the Grinch) just because it was nearly immediately outside my door and the dog kept waking up and barking every time the balls made a loud banging noise. Maybe a quiet hour enforced after 10PM would be helpful for everyone. The second night was better because my dog became used to the noises and slept through most of it:-).

We stayed on the 3rd floor. As you walk into the room the window view is entirely ocean. There is also a pool, hot tub, and hot stone sauna for after you’ve played on the beach. The beach is not overly crowded. The room is cute and comfortable with good bedding.

The bathroom is a little tight, but the point of the property is not to spend too much time in your room. Also couldn’t get TV guide to work, so we had to just scan through each channel.

Recently updated. Amazing ocean views. Nice outdoor covered lounging area with games, bocce, bean bag toss, tic tac toe. Dog friendly. Quiet central heat/ac... no noisy unit to keep you awake. Lacey upon check in was extremely helpful and called the room to be sure we had everything we need. An extra blanket was delivered almost immediately. She's an asset to the property.

Morning front desk staff not so friendly. , just going through the motion.

The room was very clean and the room with a balcony added the feeling of space. The view and sound of the never ending waves was mesmerizing. Everything in the room seemed recently updated and renovated. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and appreciated the added safety updates to the steps and railings with new gravel and slip guards on the wooden treads and lights on the handrail. If the weather was nicer we know we’d have enjoyed the new deck with the seating options and games. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly and polite. Our pup enjoyed the fun toy gift. The free breakfast was appreciated as well. Thank you for the thoughtful touches and prioritizing cleanliness and customer service!

We see that you are making many wonderful improvements! We just wanted to suggest raising the clothing rod and shelf which we found to be placed unusually low for hanging garments
