We have stayed at this hotel many times. We love this place and this our go to hotel, when we are in Lincoln City.

The first couple nights, the people who were in 203 were slamming the door all day and into the night well past 11. While we understand the door slips at times, but every time they left and came the door got slammed. Parking would have been nice if it was assigned verses first come, first served. There were times we struggled to find parking, and our van barely fit into the carports. We took the kids to the pool for the first time, thinking it was heated (per the accommodation list) and it was freezing. Put the kids in the hot tub to warm them up.

The outside property/building could use a little “sprucing up”. Was concerned about what the inside of the condo would look like based on outside, but was pleasantly surprised. It was updated, clean, and had all the things we would need for an extended stay. We were only there one night, and would have loved to be there longer. The beachfront balcony was nice, the access to the beach was so very nice and main reason we chose this property, took elderly parent there who needed close/easy access. Can’t comment on staff, as we never had contact with any. Was nice to be able to self check in and go right to condo. Did not use pool/hot tub area so cannot comment on that space.

Outside of building could use some sprucing up. Parking was not ideal, smaller and awkward shape lot. Would be nice to have elevator access for elderly or disabled individuals. Only condo available was second floor so the stairs were a challenge for elderly parent.

Contractor maintenance noise late night. Sporadic use of power tools in next room, during evening and again at 11.30pm (!) again at 8 am following morning. Probably just a one-off bad luck story, but shouldn't be acceptable in evenings when adjacent rooms occupied. Mystery of why could not get cold water from either tap in room - tap would never run cold, apparently mixed with warm. I bought water to drink and use for coffee

Great location. Beautiful view. Comfortable furniture (not cheap, small, hard stuff), and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice kitchenware. Great communication with leasing management.

As stated in in the description, it is an older building and you definitely can hear the people (kids) walking/running above you. But there really is nothing you can do. Also, because you are right on the beach, when people build fires, the smoke can get strong. It was beautiful when we were there so I counted 7 fires in front of the condos. But again, there is nothing you can do but be aware.

The view was great! Easy access to the beach and restaurants were within walking distance. My room was cute, cozy and clean. I will definitely come back again. I also loved sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves crashing on the beach and reading a book. When the tide was out there were exposed rocks with tide pools. Lots of beachcombing .. found several treasures to bring home. Also some people had made campfires while waiting for the sunset.

The first night the person in the next room left the TV on all night long .. not the fault of the staff and I found out that I could have texted the night person and they probably could have talked to them about it.

Loved the view! Loved that we are right on the beach with easy access. Loved being able to wake up and have coffee and my breakfast and watch the waves!

Did not like that room was not ready for us when we got there to check in, our key/lock system didn't work had to get new code while standing in the pouring rain with our stuff. Didn't like that there was no mirror in the bedroom to get ready only small mirror in bathroom. Also, I am unfortunately a light sleeper and being on the 2nd floor there was a lot of noise from the people above us and the street/ traffic noise was really loud.

Their was no breakfast provided which was a real down fall and a total bummer all around! Also,I have to say that I was a little let down and very disappointed to get there and find out that the property’s hot tub was closed down and out of commission not currently open and running or available at all for their guests to use during their stay! I had called and specifically asked that question prior to my booking my reservation’s to stay here and had also based my decision/Choice on choosing to stay here over other properties just because they had reassured me over both the phone and also through text messaging as well that all of their amenities including both their heated hot tub and pool were both up and running and currently open & available for use ,then unfortunately when we got there and went over to use the hot tub and pool both we found that the hot tub was in fact closed and out of use currently! So very disappointing to say the very least considering we based the fact that both their hot tub and heated pool amenities were going to be up,open and available on why we chose D Sands Rentals to stay this time! Also their was no breakfast at all available or provided on site either not even just a simple ,continental breakfast even was available for us during our stay and most all places have and provide that during your stay! Or at least for the most part most places do anyway!!

The hot tub could have been up and running and open and available for use during our stay there! Also their could have been a breakfast of some sort provided and available for guests during their stay! Even just a simple,continental breakfast would have been plenty enough and well sufficient !

The view was the best part , so Beautiful. The Location , close to everything, I had the fireplace fam suite it was nice. The suite was nice I loved the fire place , I enjoyed the stocked kitchen I was able to cook dinner instead of going out to eat every night and full size fridge was nice , I enjoyed my stay , the place just needs some things done .

The cable on both TV 's were not working , nobody could help with this issue, I did bring my RoKu so I used that but for the money I paid the cable should have been working, the gutters outside my suite need cleaning with the rain falling onto the rail and on the patio It was really hard to hear the ocean , that was the main reason for me being there was to enjoy the sound of the ocean ,the pull out bed from the couch needs replacing it is very dented and bent , I don't know why guests couldn't get clean towels or garbage picked up , I stayed 8 nights I really could have used those things done .

The self check-in was great. The staff helped with a noise issue from upstairs neighbors. Proximity to beach was great. Ground floor room with carport was great. Staff answered questions about the town.

The room was really drafty. The noise from upstairs neighbors past 2 a.m. was awful. The bright lights at night on the beach are really detrimental for enjoying the beach at night. The pool was closed the entire time we were there.

We booked the reservation very last minute since we decided to stay another night. The front desk staff was very polite and accommodating, as were the house keepers. Since it was last minute we were advised that we would have to wait as our room was in the process of being cleaned. Even though they knew we were waiting, they did not rush and made sure our room was clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean was BEAUTIFUL! We were on the first floor and we could walk right out to view the ocean and then there’s also stairs to take you down the beach. The view was much better than the first hotel that we stayed at and paid much more for. We had to leave early in the morning to drive back 2.5hrs to make it to work so we rushed to pack and head out. Unfortunately we forgot to pack our RedBox DVDs and left it there without realizing until a few hours after we made it back home. I called their office and the woman I spoke to, unfortunately I forgot her name, confirmed the dvd titles was there. I asked how much it would cost to ship the dvd to our home and that I wasn’t sure what else to do since we are back home. She was so kind to offer to drop off the dvd for us. I was very grateful for her offering to drop it off for us and I really wish I could remember her name so she could be recognized properly for her kindness when she really did not have to offer her time off the clock to do this for a complete stranger. If you’re reading this, we really appreciate you and I hope your manager gives you a bonus for being so courteous and kind. Thank you again. We will definitely be booking here again.
