The The staff is incredibly friendly and always go that 'extra mile' to make your stay more pleasant. Their breakfast is always well prepared and has a large variety. It is always well kept and clean and replenished so there is never an empty serving dish. The pool is always spotless and the towels are really nice ones.

Honestly I can't think of anything I didn't like. I've done a lot of traveling and can't say that about many places. Pleasant, knowledgeable staff, everything is kept clean, and and a great value for the money.

The hotel was a very nice place to stay. You could tell that they put a lot of thought and craftsmanship into this place. It was perfectly cleaned, and had high-end materials and it's construction. I am in the Building Trades and know the difference. The tile was laser straight, the doors are high quality, they even had Marvin windows! The location was ideal, it was quiet and comfortable.

If I have to find anything negative I would have to say that even though it's a minor thing, they didn't have a channel lineup for the tv. To nitpick even more, I would suggest a better coffee maker and include good creamer.

The location is just about the mid-point of our trip and is a favorite place for us to overnight. We have never been disappointed with the room, service, staff or breakfast. We've will be stopping there again on our way home next week. We usually make the trip twice a year and have been staying there for several years now. I can no longer make the drive in 1 day and have come to enjoy our stop there though we do miss the Country Cupboard Restaurant.

Can't think of a single thing.

Breakfast was outstanding, a cut above the usual buffet offerings in most hotels. It was apparent that room was updated with newer carpeting, furnishings. I always appreciate it when hotel bathrooms are updated and it was apparent that this one had new floor tile as well as around the tub and updated paint. Also liked the restaurant within walking distance.

We did miss the old Country Cupboard retail outlet that has since closed, sold and building demolished.

Staff, room, location, etc. Everything was wonderful.

The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. However, I'm a health nut and am hard to please in this regard. The only thing I was planning to eat at breakfast was some yogurt. Unfortunately, all that was available was some overly sweet yogurt that was dispensed from a machine. Far better would have been the typical yogurt that comes in small containers. Chobani is the best.

The staff was super pleasant and friendly. The location was great. Breakfast was included and it was excellent! I also must add that the bed pillows were very soft and so comfortable, I slept well 😊, because most places have pillows that are way too firm. We had an excellent and fun experience and it was close to downtown Lewisburg and antique shops. I would recommend this hotel as 5 stars! Thank you!

There was nothing I didn’t like

I paid extra to have a room with the spa tub. Late that night I filled the tub and turned the jets on. The tub filled up with foamy, brown disgusting water. I could not use the tub which was my main reason for paying the high price for this room. The next day the manager did offer to give me a discount the next time we stay there, but we only get to the area once a year. This is the first time I encountered a problem with the room and was extremely disappointed!

My expectations were not very high for this hotel, because of its age and affiliation with Best Western (just being honest). But I was amazed at how well it was maintained, and better than some of the Hilton and Marriotts I have stayed in.

Disappointed that the Country Cupboard Restaurant/Gift Shop no longer existed.

Excellent hot breakfast buffet. The room was very clean with large comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and provided us with extra toiletries upon request. They even gave us a late checkout at no additional charge. There is a well-maintained indoor pool and a beautiful garden trail at the back of the hotel. Only 5 miles off I-80. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

A big part of the reason we went to Lewisburg is the country cupboard restaurant which we were told when we got there have been closed as of February. I don’t think this property should be advertised as country cupboard anymore… It’s deceptive. we still made it to be a good time despite the deep disappointment
