Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh-Meadow Lands

The staff was respectful, professional and helpful. Also, there was a fire alarm that went off. The staff stayed calm and also kept the guests calm. They had it checked out by the Fire Company and all was clear. Everything was done correctly during and after the alarm. This makes me also feel safe to come back to this hotel.

There is NOTHING that I could say here. We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

The location was wonderful because it didn't take us off the route to Florida that we were on. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a King Suite- really lovely accommodations. The breakfast was nice- standard fare for complimentary breakfasts. Enough variety to get us fed and on the road to continue our journey.

There really was nothing that we did not like...maybe add some bacon to the breakfast;-)

The breakfast was good, the room was clean and spacious. We were 8 guys traveling to a Steelers game and enjoyed the close proximity to the casino. We left 2 vehicles parked in the lot while we were away, and there was no issue.

There wasn't much to dislike - the suite rooms were awesome and let all 8 of us hang out together, and the sofa-bed worked out great for sleeping and seating! We walked up the hill to the casino, but it may have been a bit too far for some travelers. We wanted to take the short drive to Frankie I's one night to check out a band, but we'll have to leave that to next time!

The room was comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We didn’t stay in the area very long, but the hotel was perfect for our purposes.

The least good part of the room was the bathroom. The shower curtain rod was hung too far in, so it made the shower feel a little crowded. The floor tile had been previously damaged and was unevenly repaired.

We had a suite, which was large and spacious, except when it came to the bathroom. The suite had a water closet with a tub and shower combo. it was so tight in that space, poor lighting and very cluster phobic. Also, there was a strong aroma that would over come the space and made my husband feel ill. At times it would become faint but unfortunately it returned. We looked all over to see if there was some kind of air freshener unit somewhere, we found nothing.

Typical hotel breakfast, but hot and plentiful. Great location! Shopping nearby if you need it, and lots of restaurants to choose from.

The one thing we can honestly say we didn’t like are the pillows. Although there were lots of pillows on the bed, they were a little small and much too soft. Difficult to get just right for a good night sleep.

We had a double queen room for our party of 3. Clean room. When you're traveling in the time of covid, it can be a little uncertain. Everything was clean. Smelled clean. Looked clean. Linens were white. Towels were white. Loved the little soaps and lotions they put out. Also happy to see a fridge, microwave, and mini coffee maker in the room. Bed was a little bouncy but comfy. Good water pressure in the shower. We didn't partake of the free breakfast but many patrons were enjoying. Very happy with my stay and would stay again.

I love that the hotel is pet friendly! The employees were all very nice and helpful.

The washer and dryer for quests to use needs to be replaced or cleaned very well. Also wish the pet room we were in was a little bigger since we had our dog and his kennel. With the beds and all the other furniture there wasn't much room for luggage and a dog kennel.

My only complaint would be that the pool was not as clean as I have come to expect at Hampton. The pool water was cloudy and there was something floating on the top. Also breakfast was not the greatest but the room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Wonder location. Great desk staff. Room was huge. Liked separate sink from bathroom. Lovely kitchenette with sink, small fridge and microwave. Really comfortable bed. Good air conditioning system. Enjoyed my stay.

Billing appeared on card a week before stay with hotel name and too high price. Desk tells me it was changed by third party which I guess is booking.com. I thought I requested pay on site will need to straighten that out and make sure I get refund for too much charge. First time this happened.
