The room was very spacious for my family of 4. Having 2 king beds was incredible and something that I had never seen in a room of this type before. The facilities were clean and updated and the water view was a real bonus.

I was really looking forward to having breakfast outside on the patio overlooking the water but was disappointed to find that this was not offered. That area was really active the night before, so I assumed it would be used for breakfast also.

Front desk, helpful and friendly Clean room, room was cleaned daily, hot water when showering, dining room wait staff works hard, we got breakfast every morning & it was a great way to the start of our day.

Hmmmm....shower water went out onto the bathroom floor. Had to be careful not to slip. The design of the shower(?), bottom lip or the shower was positioned across from the opening of the shower (?)...not sure ...but always plenty of hot water !!

Clean, comfortable. large rooms. Staff very accommodating. I had to call several times about our reservation and a staff member at the hotel answered the phone and was helpful. They were able to help me cancel one of our rooms that wasn't needed due to illness and they were very pleasant and understanding. Nice outdoor seating and bar area.

They hotel was further from Newport than I expected. There is a shuttle that leaves hourly during the week and 1/2 hourly on weekends. We ended up taking an Uber which was readily available- 10 min drive. If you can walk 2.5 miles to town, it would be a pleasant walk. I would say since the hotel was about 40-50% lower in price than the hotels in town, the trade off for location was worth it.

This is our new favorite hotel. The room was huge and quiet the beds were large (2 kings) and comfortable, and bathroom was spacious, and the view overlooking for the bay was gorgeous. I love this hotel! The pool (with a view over the water) was an extra amazing bonus. And the price was perfect.

The water pressure in the shower was very low. That was the only complaint-- everything was other perfect.

Nice hotel near beaches. Great property. Lots of outdoor activities. The room was very large and comfortable. It has a small fridge and microwave. Bathroom large. Shower huge. Id stay again.

Nothing really. Only thing the bathroom fan never turned off and ran all day and night. Not sure if we didnt know how to use it or it was broken.

VeryComfortable and clean. Decent location – great having parking included. Nice having restaurant on site. Lovely staff!

Just a couple of little things: TheLight switches coming into the room were a little bizarre. Never figured out one of them. Better selection of tea necessary - Shouldn’t have to call for non-herbal tea.

Modern with spacious contemporary rooms and plenty of free parking. Nice salt water pool.

Sliding glass door separating the room from bathroom. The platform beds had a 5 inch wooden overhang extending on 3 sides beyond the mattress creating a accident waiting to happen. Desk under TV. Bad lighting. Dull restaurant space.

The place in the property was perfect. The weather was divine for April Newport, Rhode Island was wonderful. This location is great. If you’re going to go visit the mansions I would definitely look here again fabulous nearby restaurants.

Our room on the second floor above the outside bar which made the room a bit load - fortunately a thunderstorm came through and it closed early. Also lots of kids running around the floor- and doors slamming- my guess is the weather forced folks in doors.

After a stressful few weeks we came to the Wyndham for some much needed R and R however on the second night we were kept awake by the loud shouting and talking coming from the outdoor patio bar. We called the front desk and was told quite hour started at 11 pm so much for a quiet getaway. We will have to tell others about this unfortunate experience if asked. Hopefully the staff will consider the other guests staying and try to keep the noise level down in the future. Thank you
