Interestingly and impressively furnished decorated - with so many generic hotels these days, a distinctive one at a good price is rare. Really nice staff who were kind, friendly, and willing to make adjustments so our visit was comfortable. A good bar for a drink at night.

The surcharge for our dog was steep, and that was with a deposit on top as well. They say they love and welcome four-legged guests (and they were kind and accommodating to our dog) but you pay for it. bedroom views are very concrete but I guess you don’t stay here for the scenery. more than compensated by interior decor.

Long Story Short - the Main Power Feed from the Utility feeding the entire Complex went bad under the parking lot around 8-9pm at night. Inn on the Square worked with everyone and either made arrangements for them to stay at another Hotel at no extra cost or moved them to rooms that still had power. They made an untenable situation filled with frustration and confusion as good as could be asked for and handled frustrated and aggravated guests with grace and southern hospitality. Those that stayed through the power outage received a full refund for their stay and the free breakfast was still on time the next morning even though the power was out till around 4AM.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for some eating areas since I was on a business trip. The decorations and looks of the hotel seemed very formal and a throwback to the 50s. The breakfast was nice as well. Great coffee!

In the fitness room and lobby there were water dispensers that either had an empty container or had no container on it. I was only there for one night but during the 2 days I was there they were not refilled. I also had a minor issue where my key cards only worked once. I wasn't upset by it but I would use the key cards to get access to the room and when I would go back in the room, the cards wouldn't work. I got three different sets of cards made through my stay.

Did not have the breakfast. The staff was super friendly. They first put me in the handicap accessible room, which was fine, but the door would not lock so they moved me to a better room with a locking door. The room was lovely and the Inn is very historic and beautiful.

The only negative about this stay was the noisy AC. Very loud when on and too quiet when off.

Neat place to stay. Front desk attendants were really friendly and polite. The foyer area is on the boutique-side with plants set out and comfortable Couches. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Best breakfast setup I've ever had. You order off a menu and get to choose 4 items. We enjoyed our waiter Jay so much. He was fun and accommodated our dietary preferences. Had dinner at their onsite restaurant, bartender/waiter was very attentive. Food was good.

Everything was overall awesome. My room was amazing. I will only rent the Suites on the outside from now on. The breakfast was great as well. They staff was courteous and super helpful all of the time.

There was a small issue with our reservation not showing up but they stepped in quickly and resolved it. Also my sister and I requested outdoor rooms beside each other because we had a large wedding party getting dressed but the request was not honored.

Good location, 11 minutes from event

I don’t like that the hotel had to put a “hold” on my account, making my account look short. I believe if one is checking out with cash, and you only having the card to hold the room should be quite enough.

This place has such character, warm and inviting atmosphere and is absolutely stunning! It was the perfect hotel for my wedding weekend.

The half shower doors were an adjustment, but even that was not negative. The staff was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. Everything was clean and the food/drinks were amazing!

THE STAFF! I travel for work quite a bit and I have never been to a hotel in the past 25 years that was more friendly or welcoming than these folks! The breakfast here is 2nd to none. Best French toast and grits you can get. Great location and parking is available right outside the door. The lobby areas are very clean and inviting and historical preservation of the building is really great to see. We will definitely be back when we come to Greenwood.

Room was small and the furniture was dated. The mattress needed replacement for sure - super saggy and not much support.

Unfortunately the restaurant was being renovated, but, they had sweet rolls & coffee in lobby....which were delicious. Our hotel was located in downtown area. It was Floer & Plant Festival & we were able to walk to all venues. Loved our stay!!!!
