This place was right next to a Natural Grocers store, which was great because we wanted to restock on some supplies for our road trip. The front desk staff and manager are all very nice and accommodating. The free breakfast in the morning was great! It was fully stocked and the omlet bar was excellent! What a nice touch. The pool was clean and nice, and the lobby had a free starbucks machine that could make you different drinks. There was also some other food choices and restaurants really close by, so that was nice to have those options. If you're staying in Abilene, give this place a try!

The facilities were good, rooms were clean for the most part, breakfast was enjoyable and the staff were nice & accommodating. Easy check in and check out. The starbucks coffee machine in the lobby was our favorite part of the stay.

We got connecting rooms and our king room had a really gross dog pee/ moldy smell that we couldn’t get rid of or air out. I kind of expected this since it was a pet friendly hotel but with an extra $25 pet fee I expected it to be cleaner. The rooms were old and dingy, the entire inn could definitely use an update.

It was better than what I expected in some ways, the hotel has old furniture (which I don’t really care) smells weird but it’s comfortable, the pool is nice, has good breakfast, perfect location, good coffee and good price if you don’t have a dog because the dogs fee it’s $25, more than any other pet friendly hotel that I know.

It’s old and you can tell easily, the pillows are hard, at the beginning the smell, then you get use to it, the pet fee.

The facility was old BUT clean and eclectic. Bathroom and room was clean. The staff was helpful and nice. They make a great breakfast with brown eggs from Natural Grocers (which is next door). A chef cooks to order your eggs! All included in price. Pool very clean.

No complaints. We were there 2 days and no problems.

it was clean, nice beds, but my favorite was the excellent hotel breakfast. we both have to eat gluten free meals and that is usually impossible in hotels. there was a woman making omelets to order and she used real eggs. it was a wonderful bonus. Also, thee location was great. next door to Whole Foods, excellent restaurants all around us and Starbucks right down the street

not a thing everything was good

The property was older but still nice! The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great and the lady making the waffles was very sweet and helpful with me and my kids. Unfortunately we never got a chance to use the pool but the staff made sure to tell us about it and everything they had to offer there. We had a great stay overall.

We were recognized as being prior customers. But the same service we received the first time is how we feel each visit. There are other hotels in the area but we continually come back here. No reason to change hotels. Rates. Good. Cleanliness. Good. Breakfast. Good. Location. Good. Unless something changes drastically, we will only stay here when needed.

There was nothing not to like. We were treated courteously by the entire staff and relaxed as one could when in town for a funeral. We were allowed in our room prior to check in to allow us time to rest and dress before the service. That meant a lot to us as we had driven four hours to be on time.

Large room with sofa so both of us could sit comfortably. Good desk area. Very clean. Light room. Plenty of lounge seating areas and seating area outside by the good sized pool. 24 hour Starbucks coffee machine was fantastic, Also tea and hot chocolate. Proper cooked breakfasts too. Close to shops and eating places. Will stay here again.

Leaving

The location is marvelous accessible to lots of eateries. The breakfast was amazing: so many choices, and not just the standard minimal fare or do it yourself. Dining room was staffed. I would stay there again and recommend it.

It was a little used and in need of an upgrade. The leather veneer recliner in the room was tacky.

Everyone is very polite. The motel is very vintage and very well kept perit appears that it's been renovated renovated and it's nostalgic period I liked it. Remind me of hotel that I used to stay in. We will actually stay here again.

I can't say that there was anything I did not like. Period everyone was so nice and gracious.
