The staff's communication at Baymont was outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, and eager to assist, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. The pricing at Baymont was reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service and amenities provided. The affordability made our stay even more satisfying.

Baymont by Wyndham Amarillo East has potential, but some improvements are necessary. Special attention to room maintenance and an expansion of breakfast options would certainly enhance the guest experience. We look forward to seeing these improvements on future visits.

Breakfast was good. It was better than we had expected. Busy, but laid out so it did not seem too crowded, and you could get to what you wanted.

Check-in was a little awkward. When we got to the hotel we went to check-in and there was a sign which said we will be right back. After about a 10-minute wait, someone did finally arrive and began the check-in process. He assigned us a room on the 2nd floor. I explained to him we had asked for a room on the 1st floor because my wife does not do stairs very well and the motel has no elevator. Plus, at booking they had confirmed they could accommodate our request. After a few minutes on the computer someone else entered the office and was able to get us a 1st floor room. They said they were short staffed and were having trouble getting all the rooms cleaned. The room was good, and we had no problems after that one incident.

The desk attendant practiced active listening on both verbal and visual clues. Questions were answered before we had to ask. Based on our comment of this being a weekly trip, she volunteered that we could make an agreement to assist in keeping our costs down.

We were pleased with our stay but we had to go to my Dr appointment and when we came back our bed had been stripped and the room was left unlocked with our belongings still in the room.

Whenever we need to visit the Amarillo DPS we stay here. It’s clean and the staff are always super friendly. Yes it’s a little dated but the staff are nice, linens clean and there’s always 24 hour coffee. The Mexican restaurant next door is useful for dinner. See you next time!

There’s more homeless in the area since last time we stayed, not an issue though.

I was exhausted after driving for 10 hours. My paperwork was ready at the counter when I arrived. Staff was professional and friendly. I was glad to get to my room quickly. It had new vinyl flooring, an awesome mattress, and a new updated vanity and fixtures in the bathroom. I slept like a rock. Very comfortable. Thank you.

The chartreuse colored pain in the halls. Haha. Ridiculously ugly. But the room was great.

The rooms were nice and clean, bed was comfortable The bathrooms were just the right size, shower was great and good hot water. These rooms were awesome for the price we paid I figured they would be not so great, but they were way more than expected. We appreciated that. The breakfast was awesome too.

Not sure there was anything we didn’t like. This was a great place.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The King bed was very nice. The AC worked well. Shower was decent. All in all we would absolutely stay here again if passing though.

The breakfast had very few choices as far as a hot meal. Just eggs and waffles. No bacon or sausage options. No biscuit and Gravy. There was cereal options and hot coffee. We opted to go next door to Dennys for breakfast.

The queen suite is an incredible value when traveling with 4 children.

The hotel advertised an outdoor pool that my kids were looking forward to but upon arrival I was informed that the pool was closed for the season. This would be valuable information to know before making reservations. Fortunately, the hotel next door had a pool that we were allowed to swim in.

I Am a short person and had a little trouble climbing into the king sized bed because it was very tall, however, it was very comfortable. I liked that the room was not carpeted but had laminate flooring. It just felt cleaner. The staff was smilling and helpful. The only thing bad i can say is that we had to walk up to the second floor. I dont know if they had an ellivator that didnt work or just dont have one at all. We did not eat breakfast at the motel. We went to Dennys next door. It wasn't great. Should have eaten at the motel. All in all, a great stay. Will stay here again.

The amazing holiday decorations are so home warming. The atmosphere and the overnight lady being so familiarable with my co worker and I. We have stayed 4 or 5 times but immediately she remembered our room preference, greeted us by name, makes us feel like she cares! The morning girl was new and quiet, but still pleasurable. When we returned from work, the desk lady was very cheerful and polite as well as knowledgeable of the area. Housekeeping had our room clean and ready to relax in. Next best thing to home !

Seemed as if the breakfast worker, which was also the night desk clerk, needed some extra hands as she was preparing breakfast, attending guests at counter, cleaning tables, but it got done without a fit! The lobby was also very warm. Almost too warm to enjoy the wonderful breakfast!
