Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Amarillo Central

The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The linens were very soft and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and had the body wash, shampoo and conditioner on the wall, which is very convenient. They also had motorized shades which blocked the sun out very well which was nice since we got in very late and needed plenty of sleep.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds. We were driving in from Phoenix and we called at 11pm to make sure the hotel knew we would be arriving after 1am and had our reservation. When we arrived at almost 3am, the night clerk said they only had a King left because Booking.com oversells the rooms and there were no doubles left. This was frustrating but we had our own cot for our daughter, so it worked out for a night. There is not enough parking for the hotel, so we had to park along a curb like some other cars did. It's definitely a great night's sleep, though and the clerk was very apologetic. He also gave us an extra blanket.

Breakfast was nice with good variety! Loved the bathroom mirror light, but was hoping it could be left on as a nightlight. I prefer the wall hanging shampoo, conditioner, bodywash to smaller bottles. The bathroom was ergonomic with ckean lines. Tub was sufficient for a 300lb man, but a little slippery.

I feel every bathroom should have some type of tuny light to guide you in without waking family. Need more towels (or a dedicated floor towel,) to feel more comfortable getting out of shower safely. Could have used a tiny table on other side of 2nd bed, so I could keep CPAP off the floor.

nothing was wrong w it I have never been to a motel til the this one and I am coming back and no more other motels ever this one is the best n none like the rest and the most delicious breakfast I have ever ate

We booked at Fairfield and upon arriving, found out we got mo c Ed to Four Points! We got a breakfast voucher and we're directed down the hall. Wasn't sure what to expect, then, "Wow!" The room was beautiful! So cool and modern. Thank you

A film on the bathroom floor left footprints. Not sure if they were my husband's by the time I noticed, or if the footprints had been there from someone else. Nevertheless, the cleaning products used left a film.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best that I have ever had included in hotel cost. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My wife and I enjoyed our stay.

The coffee in the room had one regular and three decaf. We took one decaf down and exchanged it for a regular. That was the only thing that wasn't right.

Directions (notification in an e-mail perhaps?) prior to arriving that I needed to check in at a different location would have been appreciated. After driving 12 hours that day, it was annoying to try to find check-in. The staff during check in was LESS than friendly (deadpan face, not even a smile) and again, after 12 hours, it would have been nice to see a smile and had been welcomed.

Easy location off interstate but did not hear interstate traffic. Every single staff member we encountered was so friendly. The young male who showed us the way to restaurant. The lady running the breakfast area was such a herd worker. She was on top of everything and running between the 2 hotels.

If I had to find something to complain about, the bed was a little to firm for my liking.

The room was great. The breakfast was awesome! The two ladies in the breakfast area were very attentive and friendly.

The person checking me in didn't explain I was checking in at the wrong lobby because the Fairfield and Four Points were connected. He checked me in at Four Points and had us walk a long distance to get to the Fairfield room.

I didn’t like how I was given a confirmation number by booking.com and when I got to the Fairfield place, they had no idea I had a reservation there cause booking.com never notified them. The office staff was awesome and very helpful but there was a wait while they had figure things out.

The Hotel is pretty new and the room really nice. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast standard for this type of hotel. The food at the restaurant was good.

We tried to get a safety box and were told they lost the key. A bit noisy due to being so close to the Interstate
