Jami "with an i" checked me in and got me oriented. She was happy to see me, sent me to a great Italian restaurant, and made sure I knew to be off the street by the time the crowd hit a neighborhood club having 18 and up night. After a long day and a road trip, it was so pleasant to be greeted by someone who actually cares. When I got back from dinner with my dessert, Jami made sure I had a carton of milk to go with it. Because of her, the Courtyard by Marriott will be the place I'm staying on my next trip to Amarilllo. Pass on to management that this lady deserves a raise!

This is a comment, not a criticism. The hotel is in a converted office building, so the rooms are a little bit wonky. I had to squeeze in to get over the sink to brush my teeth.

The room was very clean and spacious…perfect for all our luggage. We were pleasantly surprised when we found out we could get breakfast in the morning…perfectly cooked by Leah, who also helped us check in. Parking was so easy as it is attached to the hotel and very reasonably priced.

our room was way too hot & would not go down w temp adjustment. toilet not working. had to change rooms. then key to new room would not work at the end of night. had to go back to front desk & back to room. very inconvenient. when checking out next morning. clerk was not very friendly.

Upon arriving the front desk, Cindy, was incredible kind and helpful. She went over and beyond and made me feel like I was at home. The view was great, the bed was comfy and the space in the room was aesthetically pleasing. It was a perfect landing place after visiting family during a time of loss.

The listing said that there was a restaurant, I came in needing something decent to eat after a long drive. Fixing the listing would be helpful, I could have stopped on the way.

Easy to get to. Very clean throughout the facility. Very friendly helpful staff.

Our only complaint was parking. There was a daily fee that was higher than any we've experienced in larger cities. The expectation was a guaranteed space which didn't happen on our second night. We were given a code and it was not explained that the code changed daily which resulted in a late evening last minute run to the check-in area to get a new code. Unfortunately even though the Hotel had access to two parking facilities there were no parking spots available. Considering the Hotel is located in the downtown area of Amarillo TX with several bars and restaurants adjacent overselling spaces needs to be looked at. This ended up being a minor inconvenience!

The location was perfect for night life activities, and if you were in the hotel room, you could not hear any music or loud noises coming form the street. The hotel took extra safety precautions as well.

We liked the Historical value of this property. The property was stylish and comfortable.

The only complaint that I have about this property is that when we left the the hotel for a day of shopping and discover there was a White SUV parked in first stall of the check in parking! When returning and parking in the Garage I noticed the same vehicle in the same spot. As we walked to the entrance of the Hotel the Manager got into her vehicle and left…. My question is why would a manager park where guest are meant to register and unload their vehicle….

The room size was amazing!

The attached bistro was expensive, and the girl working it was impatient and rude. We just went over 600 miles on the motorcycle and were hungry and cold. She didn't make the situation better.

Probably the best night's sleep we'd had in a while. Cindy, at the main desk, was very helpful. This was our last night on a week long trip and made for a very enjoyable finale'.

The Bistro was closed in the evening. We really prefer a castable TV so we can make use of services readily available on our phones.

I was not aware breakfast was offered, but the server at the Starbucks was kind enough to help us even after she had closed. We slept in late. She was very helpful, and delivered service with a smile.

The parking situation is a little hectic. They were painting or doing construction on one side of the parking garage. So we ended up parking down the street, but the neighborhood was enjoyable.
