La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Clute Lake Jackson

I booked a reservation with u guys for Sun 25th of February 2024 chk in and Mon 26th of February 2024... confirmation was given for those dates,but in retrospect I needed the room for today 24th of February 2024 until 25th of February 2024 I explained the situation while i was being chked in today... the price on you guys app was $43.22 and they charged me $62.15 🤯 so I've sent the receipt for today's stay and I'm very disappointed in the handling of this situation please make it make sense because I'm not happy about it

Staff was great, room was clean and I was able to book a room at the last minute without having to sell any organs to pay for it. Not far from the beach and I'd stay there again anytime.

My only problem was the bathtub drained really slow which left a layer of sand in the tub. It worked out because we all took showers so only had to wait in between, but a bath wouldn't have worked. I feel bad for the maids having to clean it, but there was nothing I could do. Also if y'all could leave a couple of extra trash bags in the cans it would have helped us clean up behind ourselves a little better.

The room was clean and comfortable. Reasonable distance from beach. Staff was sweet and keep breakfast area clean and stocked.

The only thing I really did not like was in the breakfast area the butter and cream cheese were big containers that everyone was supposed to be dipping out of. So I did not use them. Need individual servings.

the place was very clean and staff was very friendly but I actually love the place would visit again

the breakfast was only pancakes and cinnamon rolls no eggs muffins or anything else and the Curtains we can see thru and people keep knocking on the door all night

The room was nice and was good size , love the shower and remodel

The door was beat up and the bottom of the door didn’t close all the way, the extra latch was broken off. The Tv didn’t work and staff checked it but didn’t fix it. Pool was nice except for the green puddle of algae

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant to be around the room was perfect nice tub and facilities the motel property was landscaped perfectly all around a 5 star in my book

Location was great. Close to mall, restaurants, and entertainment.

We rented an electric car. Big mistake. No place to charge it.

The staff was beyond helpful and very friendly. The room was clean, bathrooms were good. Lots of security cameras all about the place and this hotel is dog friendly... that last part really matters.

The bed was firmer than I prefer & my coffee pot didn't work, but they had plenty of coffee in the lobby. My Honey thought the bed felt great!

The Manager was very nice, made our stay really good. First room they assigned us wasnt that great, it was an older room and very small to be a king room, but the hotel was being remodeled. They ended up giving us a great room, very comfortable bed, and a good size room! We enjoyed it.

The only thing the bathrub/shower was really high off the floor, hard to explain, and the tub was slippery not from being dirty but the type of tub I'm assuming. Be careful when bathing! Its an older hotel but not bad st all! And too, we didn't have a curtisn to keep the room dark. It was some type of sheer, but you couodnt see inside at all, just been nice to have sleeped in!

Location, price was ideal, but the room was spacious and Mark was friendly and helpful checking us in.

We needed a blanket. It was cold last night. But the heater worked great!
