Staff was amazing.Thank you Kelly for the excellent service. Rooms are very clean, and I am picky. The bed was soft and comfortable after a day on the road. I am physically disabled and a comfortable bed is a necessity for me. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and were immediately impressed with the hominess.. I saw a review that said furniture was dated, it is an antique furniture chest & cabinet. Beds appear new & so does the sofa. The person that left that review has no sense. Hotel is dog friendly, which is amazing. Let me promise you, you can not tell there has ever been a dog in the suite we stayed in. It smelled fresh and clean without evidence of any pet odors etc.There is also a guest laundry, but we didn't utilize it. Our son lives in College Station, and I can guarantee any time we are visiting, this is where we will stay from now on.

There is no elevator, but the steps to the 2nd floor a comfortable tread height that is easily climbed. Pet relief area could use a little more outdoor lighting for late evening and night trips outside for the dogs.

The whole ambiance was amazing. It was pet friendly, but the rooms did not smell. Like other dogs or cats had been in there. Everybody was super sweet. I am a diabetic, though, and it would have been nice to have a couple of low carb. Options. I did enjoy the hard boiled eggs.I bet it would have been nice to see something that was a little bit low carb.Other than that, everything was amazing and fantastic

The outside of the hotel is not spectacular, but the courtyard is beautiful. Especially for the price. The rooms have a real kitchen, living room and bathroom. More like a little apartment, that has a beautiful courtyard with a functioning swimming pool. I liked this place, but I stay in a lot of hotels and am in search for value over luxury. This place is nice and a great value.

The room smelled like cleaning agent. Many house keepers use too much soap and not enough water. This is minor. I just turned on the ceiling fans, AC and opened the door for a few minutes. All was good. The walkway upstairs could be swept more often, but now I am nit-picking and this could be said at every hotel.

Love this place and the staff. The office is snap but they always have refreshments. Staff is nice!! Beds are amazing!!! Showers are hot and get great pressure! Stay on the first floor during the hot humid summers!

On the main entrance the brass handle needs to be covered during the summer. The handle gets too hot to grasp! Shower on first floor looked like mild could be coming soon. At least the ceiling did. I don’t like that you can’t control the temperature within the room. You only have the option of off low or medium. The facility sets the temperature!

The beds were very comfortable ( no bed bugs). The room was big enough for my husband and I. There was a full-size refrigerator, a small dishwasher, a microwave, a gas cook top with 2 burners, a regular size sink, with a bar to sit at. There were glasses, plates, silverware, a small skillet, and 2 pots. The couch was okay with an ottoman that had an extra blanket and pillow inside. The bathroom was a decent size with a regular size tub/shower combo. The sink was in the bathroom but off from it. The lights around the mirror need to be a little brighter, and the carpet needs to be replaced. The receptionist was super sweet. The breakfast was very continental. There was a waffle maker, apples, mandarins, granola bars, fruit and grain bars, boiled eggs, bagels, toast, cereal, and yogurt. There were 3 juices and cucumber water. The coffee was very weak. There were tea options also. The courtyard was very cute, and I liked the fact that you have to have a code to get in from the back. Overall, the price for the stay was great. It was very cute with a rustic feel.

The carpet

The "family" suite was awesome- my kids loved having a separate room and their own beds! The room honestly felt like a small apartment, very comfortable and everything provided. Beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast was good- they offered a variety of dry/cold items, a waffle maker, and a selection of drinks.

There was no elevator and the stairs closest to our room (and the front office) were closed for repair. It was a little confusing at arrival because the main entrance was around the front of the building facing a yard rather than having any kind of driveway that led to it or doorway near the parking.

It was beautiful; I especially loved the courtyard. It was very well situated, with restaurants, shopping, and ATM within an easy distance. The rooms were well-appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing!

The WiFi was unreliable. Our phones kept dropping the network (which they do not usually do), and while watching a movie on Netflix, it would stop and buffer. Sometimes it would totally stop and indicate that there was no available network. Also - no elevator!

We visited Texas A&M and needed a place to stay the night so we didn’t have to drive home super late. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and thought it was too good to be true. I was glad to be wrong about this hidden gem. It was nice and I didn’t see any shady characters hanging around. It was just me with my son and his girlfriend so I was super nervous about finding a safe place and this one was great! All the doors open to inside the court yard and you have to have a passcode to get in to the court yard so I felt safe. I also liked how they have cameras on the parking lot. I have cameras on my vehicles at home so that gave me comfort. I could definitely see how some people could stay there for weeks at a time as they had pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. the staff at the front desk were both nice and told us about the breakfast and social hour. We checked in during social hour where guests came into the lobby to enjoy a charcuterie board with wine in bottles! Something about seeing other guests hanging out like that gave me a safe feeling as well.

The property is out dated as far as furniture and appliances but we didn’t mind at all as it fit the price.

I booked this hotel for a single night because it was close to where my son is living, and the price was great. I wasn't expecting much from it, but was very happily surprised by what we got. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We didn't partake in the happy hour (we got there too late), or the breakfast (had to hurry out), so I can't comment on them. The open air courtyard is so quaint and feels like a secluded oasis. Really loved the vibe. Loved the room!! Very clean and cozy and tastefully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Also loved the courtyard!! Such a great little place with tons of character.

Only thing I would improve on is drive-up appearance. There is no place in the front to pull your car in to check in. There is also very little parking, only on the right side and back of building. There is an entirely empty lot on the left side of the building that could be converted to more parking maybe? From the outside, the building isn't much to look at, but once you walk through the doors to the open air courtyard, it feels quite magical.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and had an awesome experience. The location is perfect—there are plenty of restaurants and shops just a short walk away, which made grabbing a bite or picking up essentials really convenient. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and if I'm being honest, they're all quite good-looking too! Overall, I felt right at home and would definitely stay here again.
