The parking.. Had to pay separate per day for parking.. The hotel should have the parking available for their guest for free.. The pool was crowded and didn’t required to scan your key card to access, it was like anybody from the public was coming in and out how they pleased.. key card we’re not required when re entering the hotel from the back door from the beach side.. should be more aware and concern for guest safety..

Not many restaurants within walking distance, but the Black beards restaurant was great.

The many children in the pool with changing of dirty diapers after coming from the pool. Apparently using the pool as a toilet.

We loved the pool especially when the swim-up bar was open. We ate dinner in the restaurant our first night there. It was very good. Every single staff member we encountered was exceptional and always went the extra mile with a smile. Kudos especially to Jose’ who waited on us in the restaurant and also was the bartender at the swim-up bar in the pool. So helpful and kind. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

I wish we could have had a room with an ocean view but that’s my own fault for not inquiring about it when I made the reservation. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy but we never felt unsafe. The room was nice and clean and big enough but it would have been nice to have a small table with a couple chairs. There’s plenty of room for that. I will say, though, it was the very best hotel on the beach by a long shot. Also it seems weird to have to pay for parking.

I had an amazing time staying at the Doubletree Hilton. The hotel is situated just in front of North Brach and is close to the Lexington Naval Ship and the Taxes State Aquarium. Zach Bornstein, the hotel's general manager, was incredibly gracious and waived one night's worth of fees for the issue we encountered before moving us to another room.

Hotel Rooms required renovation some of the rooms such as double queen bed beach front view are not in good shape AC makes a lot of noise and the main door need to push really hard to close and the phone was not working.

We were right on the beach and so close to the USS Lexington with a full ocean view, with a 4th floor balcony. The young man who checked us in warmed up 2 chocolate chip cookies for us upon check in, and also the next day. The house maid was so nice and friendly. It's been remodeled and is homey and comfortable.

We had a handicapped room, with a flat shower, which needed a repair, cause it leaked water. The king size mattress sagged on both sides so I slept in the middle of it. The pillows made good knee pillows, but I needed my little pillow for my whip lashed neck.

The staff was amazing. Loved the cookies definitely could of used more of those but didn’t want to ask.

The only issue I had is really not property I guess related. I took my eight year old, my oldest daughter and her friends to the pool Saturday evening and needless to say we didn’t stay too long and had to leave because there is so much inappropriateness going on in front of children, I would say you’d probably have to disinfect that pool and hot tub with what I saw going on

We reserved for a 2 queen full ocean view and we paid the rate advertised for a view over the pool. In the description advertised the room we received was an ocean view room and that was advertised at a little lower rate. However, the hotel itself was obviously being renovated but, not in a disturbing way. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There is a slightly damp smell in the hallways however, not overpowering. Overall it was a nice place. Just wished we didn't have to be over the pool and listen to people in it at night. We really wanted to look straight at the ocean.

Had a lovely view of the beach and bay. Room was clean. The restaurant was a bit overwhelmed but the food was good, and the staff tried their best. We appreciated that. We had come to see the Lexington, and to go to the Aquarium. Very convenient location for both.

I didn't like that Booking dot com lets you book a King room, even though all the Kings were sold out. We had someone who was very tall in our group. They were not happy to have paid the King premium price and then not get it.
