La Quinta by Wyndham Granbury

My Husband and I stayed in the presidential suite. It looked like it had been remodeled. It was a beautiful room, it was huge! Had breakfast and loved the Texas shaped waffles!.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I liked the lighting and mirror in the bathroom. The jet tub was enjoyable as well.

It took over 2 hours to cool our room off after we got there. Not to mention the lobby was at least 80+ degrees. The mattress could use an upgrade or a pillow top. The place was exceptionally clean. My only thing on that was the carpet in our room was questionable. I kept telling myself it was red wine stains on large areas of the carpet. But I have definitely stayed at worse. The listing said free continental breakfast.... 3 types of cereal, honey bun, and one flavor of yogurt was literally the only thing the manager had to offer. We won't be booking there again

The people were nice, the bed was comfy and location very convenient. Will book again, but will make our own breakfast plans.

I know it’s Covid and everything, but they could do a better job with breakfast. You have to ask for cereal or a little container of yogurt, you have to ask for a piece of toast and what you want on it, etc... If you can’t do a hot buffet, there are other options that would be more convenient than having your guests stand outside the pantry door and ask for every little item.

our room had a used washcloth left in the bathroom and the coffee maker in the room couldn't be used as it was unplugged. It was all my friend could do to pull the cord out from inbetween two pieces of furniture. TV needs sleep mode!!!!

In a bind needing to find a room quickly as our other hotel was overbooked, staff went above and beyond to help us get a room that exceeded the expectations.

The breakfast was OK but it needed more variety of things like biscuits and gravy

Clerk did tell us that they change cable companies on check-in T.v. in room didn't work cause cable box was bad Offer to more to another room but I decline since I was already settled in for the night

conveniently located affordable All of the staff were polite and helpful. The clerk that worked the evening shift was very friendly and gave us good suggestions for restaurants and directions.

Dog friendly, wanted first floor and for the second time requesting it, couolnt get it. very comfortable . Caroline was awesome getting me settled in. Even offered to help with internet service.Ill be back

Baseboards could use a cleaning. It has cleaning fluid splashed up and dried on it. Always leave caffinated coffee with a coffee pot. Most places have it the first day and don't replace it the next. If you are still there when the maids knock, y our room won't get cleaned that day

Front desk staff was friendly. Room was comfortable.

TV remote was dirty and the back cover over the batteries was missing. Bathtub enamel was peeling and the bathroom lighting was poor.

We were here due to bad weather and electrical outage at our house. Due to weather, they were serving what they called a cold breakfast and that did not appeal to us so we did not do breakfast.

The bath tub was cracked and peeling and the grout for the tile around the tub was dark in some places and appeared to be mold.
