Overall, it was a very nice hotel comparatively. Checkin was fast, hotel staff were friendly and helpful, excellent location, cleanest and most organized hotel fitness center I've ever been to! I stayed in a European studio king, perfect size & layout for me. Great view of downtown, comfortable bed and plenty of storage for a weekend stay without looking cluttered.

Really bad lighting over the mirror. Could hear the plumbing from guests' rooms and the train every now and then. Never been a fan of downtown parking and this hotel on offers valet but there are plenty of self park garages in the area. Personally wasnt a fan of the breakfast buffet.

The hotel was very nice, the staff was very pleasant, and the bar was enjoyable. it was also great that there’s a Starbucks downstairs.

Not having parking means paying way too much just to have somewhere to put your car. We opted for valet because parking was across the street and down the block, and we had bags. We didn’t call for the car until time to leave, but it was a bit pricey, considering. As far as the hotel room itself, the only complaint I really have is that the air conditioning kept resetting, and I kept being woken up sweating and having to turn the temperature back down.

Great sized room. The bed was comfortable. I really loved the shower it was clean and really warm. Private and only key access to the elevator. Very easy to pick up with Uber and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Water in the fridge and nice size TV. The gym was nice and clean.

I wish the space had room service, there was a night I had to order door dash and didn't feel like going down to pick it up. The breakfast was good but didn't have many non-dairy options.

The hotel was beautiful right upon entering the building. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and cozy. The beds, pillows and blankets were clean and super comfortable! It was also very convenient to have a Starbucks in the hotel!

Maybe having a few more food type options at the concessions bar. We got back late after our event and most restaurants in the area were closed. We had to resort to delivery from a fast food place. Not good!

Very nicely appointed, comfortable rooms and great room size. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating (classic Texan hospitality!), and though weren't able to give us the room we had booked, upgraded us and gave more than adequate compensation. Location is great for anything in downtown.

Not much at all honestly. Some more information.ation about parking options, and signage outside the entrance would have been helpful to identify the hotel (its a little non descript from the outside, especially after hours).

The location is the most central you can imagine. A really good spot if you like to go out. The room is very modern and nice (the hotel open a couple of years ago). Starbucks is downstairs, so no issue getting a good morning coffee (for those who consider Starbucks good).

No room service was available. After 8 pm, the staff left the reception; you have to have a hotel card handy to open the door to the hotel. Even though check out was at 11, my card got blocked at 10:40, but the staff helped to sort it out.

The location was perfect for me. They allowed me to check in early which was a lifesaver. The room was very modern and spacious with plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. They even had makeup remover wipes which I was also grateful for. Housekeeping was very nice and kindly got more tea for me after I requested it.

The Metro train station was right outside my window but luckily after a bit getting used to it, the noice became white noise and I slept fine through it. The only problem I had was, the ice machines were not working and I had to go to the lobby bar to get ice after calling the front desk. I thought that they could have offered to bring some to my room since I had already spent 20 minutes looking for the machine only to find it was inoperable.

The hotel offers self laundry service which was very important to me. The rooms were clean and photos are very accurate about their size and amenities. It is quite small for 2 people and their luggage, but if you are on a short stay, it is big enough. When booking and also when checking in I was informed that there is no room cleaning service. But every day there housekeeping is on the floor and asking if you need anything so clean towels, water bottles, ... were always available.

Location is in centre, close to public transportation. The windows are not the best so you can hear the traffic all the time. If you are not used to city traffic sounds or have very light sleep ask for rooms that don't look at the street.

The staff was just so friendly and the place was spotless. It was also conveniently located to the Brown center. Just a 12 minute walk.

They could have more hooks to hang towels. There were 2 adults and 2 children. They did have bars in the shower itself but that wasn’t helpful for us. We just had to have our towels replaced each day.

> As with most hotels, this one was no different….the iron in the room always leak on your clothes > The bed has butt dips on the in bed leftside closest to bathroom…which means there’s no mattress turning or flipping happening > Not the hotel’s fault, but there are a decent amount of homeless about in downtown Houston > It would have been good if they had airport driver services at the ready as a service provided. Instead I was given a number by staff for a reliable recommended driver and I arranged it myself
