Booked last minute after my flight got cancelled and was an amazing surprise, Hotel is located at a historic build, but totally refurbished, Rooms are very mordern and confort, personel at front desk are very welcome, Restaurant is really good and very cozy, Location is good, just accross the street you have minuted maid park which is used by baseball team Astros, perfect place to stay for a game.

From hotel side everything was perfect, but downtonw Houston looked quite dead, no one at street, apart from homeless people, for me its not the best area of the city to staty...but i was there for only 2 days, maybe it was that specific time, if you like to run like me, its possible, but takes 1 - 2 miles to get to a proper place like Bayou

The view from the room was exactly what I requested it was amazing waking up to see the cities skyline. The staff were fiery welcoming and gave recommendations when it came to places to go and foods to eat. We were there for 3 nightts and it was the best time highly recommended the location is about 7-10 minute walk away from major restaurants we wanted to try and 20 Minutes from the mall and nail salon

The only thing that could have been better during our stay was there was only 3 working elevators and depending on the night or day it took a while to get up to our room but that was just for the stay the day we left they had the construction workers already working on the elevators so I know when we come back we wouldn’t have any issues

We liked the building a lot, it was kind of historical. The size of the room was very good. We enjoyed the comfort of the bed a lot, the quality of the mattress (firm!) and pillows were great. Noise isolation was also alright. Staff was very kind and service was up to expected! Location is great, it was perfect for downtown related programs, there are a lots of activities in this zone and it is quite walkable!

We have stayed here once before and believe it will be a regular for us when we want to go to Minute Maid Park. It is a quick walk there and is easily the best price around. I used the gym this time and it was well equipped and there were hand towels available too!

The showers are a great size and it has wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The difficulty we had was that there isn't an area other than the floor to put things you use like your own bar of soap, razor, shaving cream, etc. We made do but would have loved a shelf or something. We also found the pillows to be extremely soft.

Didn't eat breakfast but overall great staff and atmosphere Very beautiful and clean hotel. Vey impressed and definitely will return and reccommend to others.

Only downfall on my stay was disappointment due to only 1 elevator working so time frame to get up and down was very long and uncalled for during busy weekend with many people coming out for a ballgame the entire weekend we stayed. Stairs had to be used if you didn't want to wait for long period of time for elevator. Not good for those with medical conditions who can't climb stairs to 4th floor and up.

Our room was excellent....it was large and the bathroom was a very good size, too. We were very pleased with the room. Location was good, too.

The lifts (elevators) were terrible and took an AGE to arrive. Only 2 out of the 5 appeared to be working. On one occasion we waited about 8 minutes for one to take us down from the 10th floor. Also, there is a large building site opposite the hotel - this isn't mentioned anywhere in the description. The workers started before 7am and made lots of noise! This should be made clear to prospective guests before making a reservation. Valet parling was very expensive. We found a good public car park 2 block away that charged a third of the price.

Good value at 170/night, wouldn’t pay more though I liked that there was no street noise being on a very high floor Early check in was no problem Decent gym even if there was no air conditioning

No slippers, robe, shower cap, vanity set, etc These are usually provided in 4* in this price range I paid $6 for a small discount brand bottle of water from a self service convenience store corner at the reception. Usually two small bottles are provided in the room. $6 for a small discount brand bottle where I also have to scan it myself is a rip off

Great location for Minute Maid Park, George R Brown an Discovery Green etc. Friendly staff. Very comfortable, spacious rooms. Quick and easy valet parking and check in/out. Would definitely stay again if they sort out the elevator issues - see below.

The elevators! Waited 15+ minutes on one occasion before giving up and using the stairs (fortunately we were on a low floor). Continued using the stairs thereafter - even when checking out with our bag. Many others were doing the same (very grateful we weren't on a higher floor!). Also disliked the low water pressure in the bathroom. I imagine this is intended to reduce water usage but, if so, it fails - you just have to spend at least six times as long to achieve the same result, so probably still use the same amount of water (if not more) while wasting a good deal of time.

Fantastic location for the baseball stadium! It’s in a beautiful old high rise, the room was enormous and the bed was comfortable.

The water pressure was terrible in the shower! Valet parking was expensive and was the only viable option on the Friday/Saturday. There is other parking around, but unless you know the area it’s hard to find something secure and affordable. The parking apps don’t seem to accept foreign credit cards so we had to find somewhere with a meter for street parking.

Location was great, 0.5 miles walking distance and safe to the Toyota Center. Room super clean, comfy beds with crisp sheets. We had a corner room with two walls of windows thus lots of natural light. All the staff was spectacular- super pleasant and helpful. Incidentally, the other guests in the hotel super polite and friendly as well. No rowdy or rough people in the Astro crowd.

During certain times of the day, there was a wait for the elevator to arrive. However this is understandable in a very historic building with original elevators.
