the staff was so attentive borderline overly but that’s a good thing. even the restaurant staff. obviously the unique Texas lazy River. the location

a tad expensive with no additional benefits (no breakfast or drink or spa vouchers) that almost all the pool loungers had “reserved” designations on them everyday all day without anyone in them. seems kinda “greedy” that on top of the price we already pay you want people to pay extra for loungers. I went on a busy weekend and most people were on the outskirts, no one was in the reserved loungers. seems a waste. plus…with temps over 100 the ground was INSANELY hot! and all the “open” non-reserved loungers were the farthest ones away from the pools. that might be a safety thing to think about. maybe only have 1/2 the amount of reserved signs out OR halfway through the day removed them? I don’t know seems like a waste and not customer oriented

cleaning of the room was done well, breakfast was GREAT and the service was exceptional at the morning restaurant, and we LOVE the pool with the lazy river!

in the morining, 8am, the cleaning staff wanted to clean the room. we rushed to leave the room and when we came back at 2pm, the room was not cleaned even after we notified the staff that we are leaving the room for a room cleaning. This only happened once but the cleaning staff seamed mad that we did not move out faster. I felt confused by the staff who seemed pushy about cleaning the room but did not clean the room.

The pool was beautiful as well as the Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi was the best part! I was able to make a couple of friends as well and the staff was very responsive. I would definitely re-book at the Marriotte for the attractions.

The only thing I didnt like were all of the extra charges. There was a extra charge for $100 at the front desk to use debit card as well as the $25 voucher that is non refundable. I could do without that. Also parking cost too much. For the amount of money that we are paying for the room, there should be some pass or special discount for the parking. Cheapest parking I could find was $15 in which I had to walk to the hotel about 6 minutes. The parking for the hotel was either Vallet or to park into their parking Garagae which was $30. All together I reserved the room and booked for $389 and walked out paying $544.

The staff was beyond amazing! Upon check-in, Elisa and Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable with our stay as they were super friendly and full of good energy and eagerness to help with accommodations since we did early check-in. Also the bartenders at High Dive were beyond awesome as well! We visited High Dive every day of our stay and Aliza, Terri, Ben and Sebastian were definitely the dream team behind the bar and treated us so well and they were super professional and had high energy which was very contagious!! We loved how clean our room was as well as the view of the city, how nice everything looked in the hotel, how attentive all the staff was, as well as the overall location of the hotel too! We will definitely be going back again!!

The staff was very helpful. The location was very central with lots of energy. I loved the availability of Uber rides to facilitate me getting around with ease and the many restaurants to dine.

The Fed Ex experience of them.charging me for the package that was delivered to the hotel. I believe the Marriott should control this situation so that the guests are not charged for their packages. Marriott should also advise guests of this because it came as a surprise. First time I was experiencing this at a hotel

Recreation facilities and high quality room

Parking was expensive. Guests should not have to pay for quality Wifi in 2022!

Ms. Karen at the front desk was exceptional! She was pleasant when I checked in and even more so when I checked out. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful as well.

The only issue I can think of was one of the elevators was stuck on the 27th floor overnight. I was in the elevator when the doors were getting stuck and couldn’t close. I was able to jump out and another elevator can quickly.

It was so clean and everyone is helpful.

Pool closes early on the weekend also bar .

Very good location especially for downtown events/conventions.

when we arrived, we were told that our requested room was not available and we would have to take a different room and then get our requested room the next day. Inconvenient at the least. Poor judgment not to tell us in advance. They were very professional and courteous about it and gave us room credits.

The location, pool and nearby attractions were wonderful.

The pillows were lumpy and there was no bathtub. with prices like this I expect a spa-like bathroom and that was not the case, not even robes to keep you warm. I have stayed at much more affordable hotels and had much better spa like bathroom amenities. The air conditioner did not cool the room very much either. There is a thermostat in the room, but I don’t believe it actually changes the temperature.
