We loved the fact that we were soooo close to the NRG Stadium and just walked to and from the event that weekend and didnt have to fight traffic. Right across the street there were some good restaurants. The hotel itself was clean, staff was friendly, and although the hot tub was broken, my kiddos did enjoy the outdoor pool.

I opted for a room with breakfast included. We were told they served from 0630-0930. Normally, at any other restaurant, that would mean last orders were taken at 0930. We got there at 0915 and were rushed because they close at (0930). Reception needs to inform guests that last orders are taken at 0900 instead or that they close at 0900 …

Loved that the property was right next to NRG stadium. It was clean and the staff were very welcoming and available if we needed anything.

I did not like that the property was not as secure as we thought. It is inside of a gate but random people come inside and park. On our second day we even seen people come in to use the pool and they were not from the hotel. They exited the pool as well took some of their towels and went to their car parked in the parking lot and left. I think they definitely need to up their security around the hotel or at-least have it to where you need a key card to access the facilities.

The beds are older and you can feel springs moving under you. The AC took a really long time to cook down after check in. They didn’t charge me my discounted booking rate. but it was an extra 5.00. plus they charge your card an extra 50.00 deposit. plus just to park in the parking lot is 7.00. it’s not THAT close to Medical Center and possibly when the NRG is open they could do at least 1 car free to park per check in. Also; there were a lot of surgical and medical appointment patients checking in. many like us had to be at hospital at 5-6 am. the shuttle bus doesn’t start until 7:30. So to have earlier hours would be really helpful !

Breakfast staff was a bit on the rude side but the food was worth it. Ordered sausage and got bacon but I like both so no big deal. The hotel was very clean and for.such a hotel its surprisingly neat. Bath room was up to date and very clean.

Ice machine broken staff can be rude and bed was awful. Wosr bed if ever gotten and I stay in horels.a lot. Very surprised it was SO bad.

The proximity to NRG and direct access via the parking lot was extremely convenient. It was such an easy walk to the stadium. We arrived a few hours before an event at the stadium and the lobby was incredibly busy and crowded. The check in line was very long but the staff was helpful and apologetic for the long wait. They stopped through frequently to offer waters and answer any questions.

The hotel is outdated but I did see signs that they would be renovating soon. The bar/lounge area was very busy throughout our stay. Unfortunately the bar staff was unwelcoming and overall pretty unpleasant. They could have used more help.

It has a gate entry to NRG area through the parking lot. it has good air condition and is a great location to restraints and nearby services.

the room was clean but corners were dusty. the water was warm not hot most of the time. It washing machine and one dryer that is working. it only takes coin with no NFC or Card. there is no coin machine or detergent dispenser.

Nice hotel but location is only great to go to the hospital with a shuttle service.

The hotel is not in a safe location. Our car was broken into in the early afternoon after someone watched me put my luggage in our locked car after I went back inside the lobby to check out of my room. The hotel said they did not have cameras in their parking lot which is next to their hotel. This is hard to believe since the Holiday Inn is an expensive hotel, and they know it is not a safe area.

very clean hotel from the front entrance to the room. hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. my ONLY complaint is that the vending machine didn’t work (snacks not soda), and it was the ONLY one available at the property. (yes I sent to all the other floors. they only had soda vending but not snacks).

the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in at an hotel in a while and the pillows were amazing! I legit tried to look them up on Amazon to see where I could purchase some for myself!

Location was amazing, near everything and had spots close by for everything, including target. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was alright, good bathroom and space. Bed was hard to sleep in. Good amenities as well.

I was not aware of the parking fee. Might’ve been my error, but they charge you 2 days for one night.

The cleanliness and location to the Texas medical Center. They also had a security guard in the parking lot after dark

Just a few minor things. The refrigerator was very small and had no freezer section. The microwave was inside the cabinet and it was too low and dark to see the buttons had to use a flashlight
