The location was fantastic, since I was heading down to the lake for the day, and the manager, Dawn, was super friendly and very personable! Breakfast was great, and I got to show off our Texas-shaped waffles to a disbelieving friend in NM. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, local TV was good, and the shower was fantastic after a day of boating

My only real complaint was that the door to the bathroom wasn’t sitting properly in its frame anymore, so it was a little hard to close and swung shut by itself. But that’s it! Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Rooms were clean and comfortable staff was very friendly. We felt very welcomed and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful!

On more than one occasion people were lying on the sofas in the front lobby, one night a person was lying there with pillow and blanket. There were people out front smoking in the breezeway when we entered so we weren’t able to enter without encountering cigarette smoke

The property was clean, comfortable, and within my budget.

There was a used bar of soap left in my shower and the smoke alarm started going off at 8:30am this morning and was still going when I left at 9:30. The fire department did come and there was nothing on fire. The lady at the front desk said the man from the sprinkler company was on the way.

Living in Denton for several years it's fun to return and see family and friends. Having stayed at a large number of properties in the Denton area Best Western Plus is a standout for value, amenities and most of all service. My first stay six weeks ago the day after a night in a premium Sheraton property in the Galleria area. It was to be kind a beautiful room in a hotel that would make Conrad Hilton's head explode. Stopped up bathroom sink to a horrible bed were only the beginning of unpleasantness. So the next night in Lake Dallas for a couple of days and wow it was like hotel heaven. At half the price which is kind of a big deal. I'd stayed at the Comfort Inn next door and they darn near wouldn't allow my service dog, charged me an extra $30 for her. I'm about half deaf but the HVAC unit was so loud I could barely sleep. The staff was not quite rude but close. So let's return to vacation nirvana, checked in late but Mindy on the front desk was wonderful even solved a to technical issue with using a streaming player with the TV. The remote won't let you change inputs but the button I didn't find on the bottom of the TV would. Thanks Mindy! Now the room was beautiful and the handicapped access was perfect, the a/c quiet and the breakfast buffet overseen by Maria was amazing. Most of the time a free breakfast means a Danish and a cup of coffee. At Best Western Plus it means scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage, a Texas shaped waffle, several kinds of fresh juice, fresh fruit and a nice choice of pastries. The next couple of days Maria was there every day asking if I was enjoying my breakfast and brightening the day. On my last day the GM Dawn helped me with a very random problem and solved it in seconds. Can't say enough good things about this property this is the second time I've stayed here and it was even more delightful on the second visit.

Bed was extremely firm and not comfortable at all for me. It seemed to be fine for my wife. the hotel backs up to the backyards of houses and a dog barked most of the night one of the two nights we were there. recommend getting a front side room to avoid this.

The pool, the hostess and the beds was what we liked about the hotel, It was clean and comfortable. The showers were awesome with the new shampoo, conditioner and lotion dispensers attached to the walls over the tube that made it simple to use even for the kids..

The time the pool closed is the only thing I didn't like, to early!!!

The location was excellent. It was within a few minute drive from the venue for the wedding we were attending. The staff was incredibly friendly, very helpful and made you feel right at home. I highly recommend this facility.

Nick welcomed us and was extremely helpful making sure we had everything we needed. I had called the day before check in to ask a question and Nick was the one I spoke to then. He was very polite, answered all my questions and extremely professional. Thank you.

The turn in to get to the property had traffic blocking the turn in most of the time, other than that the location was excellent

Access to the hotel is horrible even though there was signs not to block entrance the traffic didn't obey. Friends car was hit trying exit from hotel. Bed was too hard. Ceiling fan was loose and made a racket when you turned it on.
