Candlewood Suites League City, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was located conveniently for our activities on this trip; however, construction made it difficult to navigate that area of League City.

The air conditioner made a terrible noise. When we informed the front desk staff, a technician came and worked on it. The next day, the noise was different and again we informed the front desk staff and a technician came and worked on it. The third day we informed the front desk staff that the noise was different, but still there and very shrill and loud, and again a technician came to work on the unit, but this time, he replaced the unit. Yea, the unit was finally fixed after three nights of interrupted sleep.

We were Very comfortable in our room making our 3 week stay very enjoyable. Used the laundry facilities & the shopping cupboard which were both convenient & perfect.

Only had 2 things we didn't like. Our bed was way too high for us to get into it without a lot of straining. Had to struggle each time we got up during the night which was very annoying. For a handicap room, was surprised it was so high. Also, wish your doors didn't slam shut with such harshness. Not all hotel doors do that. We were woke up with slamming doors multiple time from neighboring rooms of younger people.

Location was great - there was no breakfast that we noted - perhaps due to COVID protocols? The room was clean, staff was pleasant, we had a nice stay.

The coffee pot needed to have vinegar run through it due to slow drip caused by mineral deposits. The hanger on the back of the bathroom door was missing a set screw and kept falling off. Also - bookings.com made no mention of the $25 per night fee for the pet so I was not prepared for that - I asked for pet friendly locations. Y'all need to add a line to the locations info if they charge a nightly rate for the pet. It's not like he had to have an extra bed, in fact he brought his own! I can see a one time deposit refundable upon check out but $25 a night I could have left him home with my son to keep an eye on him.

Easy check in. Pleasant staff. Well stocked items—always cups and coffee and snack items easy access to destinations in town.

It was practically next door to the hospital I needed for some tests. A spectacular restaurant was also next door where I had dinner. Distance matters because I am wheelchair bound.

The room was nice and clean but the floor in my hallway could have stood a little vacuuming.

Big rooms with comfortable beds....a/c was cold..shower had great pressure and really hot water...very clean...staff was amazing.

My tv didn't work the first night...talked with the front desk and the lady came up to my room to try and fix it herself....turns out it was a bad cable....maintenence came up the next morning and replace it right away.....

Thanks to the kitchenette, We brought our own groceries and cooked our own, but Would have been much better if there was a breakfast provided. The bed was really comfortable and was one of the 1st places we've stayed that had the proper sized pillows, instead of those little baby pillows. The room was nice, but the recliner couldn't be used cause room was too small for the recliner. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful!!

No breakfast. Just an area you could buy food items and basic necessities

Would have been nice to have a breakfast like other extended stay hotels

The staff was extremely efficient and courteous. I like the free coffee and a working gym.

I did not know that pets were allowed in the hotel so dogs constantly barked at night and everytime i passed a doorway. I could smell the pets throughout my floor

I got the suite and I loved the full sized refrigerator, the stove, dish washer. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. I had no complaint about this stay. I highly recommend and would return again.
