Price. Size of room. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were great. TV good sized for room. Breakfast was nice, well stocked. Someone always in dining area replenishing breakfast items. FRESH FRUIT! Motel was easy to find. Convenient area of Pt Aransas. ICE MACHINE! Staff was pleasant and attentive. Area was well maintained.

AC didn't cool whole room. We bought a fan at the store to cool off far side of 2-bed room. Pool was in sun all day. No shade for sitting under to watch kids swim. Parking is tight. No towels in room. No curtains on windows.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and well stocked with towels, a fridge, hair dryer a small table that could be moved (we moved it to make room for an air mattress). It is conveniently located close to fishing spots, the beach, restaurants, and bars. It also had great wifi available that we used since our phone reception wasn't working and our kids used as well on their devices after a long day of fun at the beach and fishing. I also like that they do not mind how many in the room since we have 4 kids and most hotels want us to book a second room.

The towles were rough but could have been because they use lots of bleach but its fine as long as they are clean. I had requested a 1st floor room, I did call the day before to make sure and was told that they had reserved one for us but when we arrived to check in they only had a room on the 2nd floor available.

We received an unsolicited upgrade to our room when the room we were placed in initially had not yet been finished by housekeeping. Management upgraded us to a two room suite - a very nice gesture. The grounds were well lit and kept up and staff were all very friendly. This hotel is very close to many restaurants in Port Aransas and a very short distance to the ferry landing. The beach is about 1 mile away. The breakfast was simple, but good.

The original room had a slightly musty odor - likely needed to be aired and cleaned. Our suite was ideal - not one thing to complain about.

This was a very good place for us to stay! My 2 teen daughters and I, rented a single studio, it was huge! We very much enjoyed the smaller kitchen area with a cooktop stove, microwave, sink and refrigerator. It was stocked already with utensils, cups, plates, and even small coffee maker. Beds, including the pull out couch bed were all comfortable and teenage girl approved! The bedding was clean and soft. Bathroom is big and had very amazing smelling toiletries. Very clean place! The Breakfast area was perfect, as the teens wanted to sleep in and I could go get breakfast. Delicious coffee and even flavored coffee creamers. Thank God for that!! The parking lot is well lit up at night and the coverd sidewalks were as well... so safety for 3 ladies, was never a problem nor concern. It's a pretty peaceful place, with nice landscaping and quite as well, great place for anyone from families, couples or friends. We'll definitely be coming back for more memories. We liked it nothing was bad.

The staff were friendly and the complementary breakfast was a nice start for our day. Happy that they were able to accommodate my family, we had two rooms and were able to have our rooms side by side. Thank you!

There was mold in the ceiling of 1 of the bathrooms, it didn’t smell so I didn’t complain, but it did make me think of people with weak immune system. Also the to go packets with creamer, sweetener & sugar were stiff and crunchy, they may need to replace those.

Breakfast was ok but it needs a suasage and egg selection. Location was perfect as it gave me easy accessibilty to everything. Staff was very helpful/friendly and the room was very clean. I will definitely come back again and I recommend this hotel.

Only the breakfast selection and honestly it wasnt that big of a deal. We tried several restaurants for breakfast and enjoyed what the island had to offer.

We stay here all the time it's great . The location is perfect. The breakfast is back . The staff is friendly and professional. Overall I would recommend captains quarters to everyone.

What I don't like is the maintenance issues I have reported before like a year ago or more still haven't gotten fixed ? Like the doors having to be slammed shut to be closed ? Not just my room 108 the room next door 109 had the same issue ? The paint In the rooms you can see where patch work was done ? The bathtub are to small for adults? The mattresses and pillows need to be changed out ? Got some sleep but not without having some pain ? Pillows feel old and flat ? Need to be cleaned better found way to many dirty spots on floor and walls ? Also need to clean the air conditioner? It had what looked like mold spots maybe not but ares was dirty and nasty .

The location was close to beach and restaurants.. Room was clean .

I have stayed at several hotels and this is the 3 rd time , the pool is closed on a weekend because they are putting pool. Do that oat night not during the day. They don't let anyone check in until 4 pm. That is way to late, we had been at the beach and just wanted to rest and clean up. They should let people in as they clean rooms.

The staff was absolutely awesome. We brought our two dogs and they're was no issues with having pets. Pet fee is extremely reasonable. The room was very clean with the sheets being pressed and no stains or hair to be seen. We decided to stay another day after checking out that morning, I called the front desk and they were able to take us back at an great price for one night. The breakfast had a large variety and the waffles were very tasty. We will be returning and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great location, easy access to beach, ferry and restaurants. Excellent and friendly staff! We also enjoyed the waffle station during breakfast hours.

Nothing to not like about the property. It is pretty well maintained and the staff were great about accommodating any needs we required. The only complaint was the sink drain had a smell, but once the cleaning services poured some bleach, it was fine. The tub in my room didn’t switch all the way from running water to shower mode, but it does enough that it’s not really that noticeable. I also suggest putting in shower liners with the curtains in the bathrooms. It’s impossible to not get water all over the floor unless you put the fabric liner inside the tub. All things that are minor though compared to all the positives, I 100% recommend this place and will be returning again!
