The breakfast was ok. The eggs were a little watery but they tasted fine. The bacon was cooked nicely. The waffles were thick and delicious. There was enough to have a satisfying meal. The room was clean and everything worked. I like that the location is not exactly in the middle of town but close enough to be convenient.

It would be nice to have more variety for breakfast, like biscuits and gravy, sausage, bagels, muffins, egg patties. Also more condiments and cheese would be great. I miss the option to be able to take meals back to the rooms. I suggest more seating should be made available. But I understand they have limited space/staff, and the meal and service provided was still satisfactory.

I loved almost everything about our stay! Staff was helpful and courteous. Very pet friendly, amenities were as advertised and breakfast was fresh and great. Definitely will be staying here again.

While I liked almost everything our room was not the cleanest. The floor was very dirty mostly understandable since we were near a beach although our other accommodations did not have a problem with this. The floor, sink and counter were wet. The floor had a dark liquid near the fridge which was not clean on the outside but clean inside. I would rate higher if our floor was mopped and the bathtub was cleaner.

the landscaping is really nice and homey. we stayed in a Queen suite. which was spacious and comfortable.

this is the second time we stay here. housekeeping needs a little improvement. for 3 of us there were only 2 big towels (which happened the first time we stayed also) not nearly enough when you go swimming etc.. underneath the beds need to be swept and cleaned. bathroom floor is stained with paint, and some bed sheets were dirty. luckily we had our own blankets. I think if room inspections are a little more thorough, this place has a lot of potential to be great

The staff was short handed but the ones that were there did make up the difference. Very good staff doing multiple jobs to take care of all their guests. They deserve the highest praise!

very clean our check in was simple and they accepted our furbabies we did have to pay $10/per dog but we were more than happy to do so the remote was not working so we called the front desk and he made it to our room in 5 minutes and brought us a new remote!

there were no extra blankets for the pull out couch- we made do though with the blankets on the beds. so it was not even a negative! I will say the restroom has a smell of urine in the morning time- I’m not too sure if it was the sewer or something else- but it was close to our check out so we were ok !

Staff was very friendly and amazing! just north of Rockport and 20ish mins to Port A. Room was clean and had the basic amenities. You get what you pay for in a good establishment. Breakfast: AMAZING!!! Cooked to order and the biscuits def are some of the best around (mouth waters just thinking about them) the breakfast def made the stay. Overall a good place for the price

facilities are def older, but they have made renovations to update and make more modern. Room was warm even with ceiling fan and a/c on (but that's just TX in the summer) It would be nice if there was a water fountain or dispenser for drinking water.

The breakfast was very good, enjoyed. Refrigerator kept contents good & cold. Pool & area was clean. Staff was pleasant. Reasonable rates however 2 rooms same type advertised for same price but didn’t explain difference in the room?

Laundry area needed attention, had a very unpleasant smell. One bed was very hard & uncomfortable. Needed to have a TV channel roster. Only had one hand towel for 2 people, 2 nights.

We liked the location. Close to stores n restaurants. Everything really.

The beds were uncomfortable. You can feel the springs. Property was clean, well lit, the free breakfast was made to order;) However the menu was very limited. Pancakes, eggs, bacon or sausage and toast. Your choice of 3. And cereal. However, the staff was warm friendly and professional. I traveled with my disabled daughter they accommodated an early check in upon request with our reservation. The room was clean no complaints there. The pool was nice for the kids to cool off the water was a little cloudy. Overall for the price our stay it was good. And we would consider staying again even on an uncomfortable bed, because of the staff. They’re amazing. Thank you

Quiet and clean. After the weekend people left. All in all it wasn't bad better than I thought it would be, I will recommend it to others.

Staff never came in to empty trash cans which are very small so I had to do that daily. I couldn't reach the pull chain to the main light in the room which was pretty dark without it. The 1 window in the room had curtain issues.

Great value hotel in a great location. Nice sized rooms. Nice pool. Shopping and restaurants close by within a few minutes' drive. Included breakfast options include proteins. Weekly and monthly rates available. Best value in town for a budget traveler and a good alternative to signing a lease on an apartment if you're staying for awhile.
