The hotel appears to be very new and modern. There is a bar in the lobby (W xyz), and little conversation nooks with board games like Connect4. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, albeit a bit odd (check out the photo of the bathroom wallpaper). I like that there's no carpet in the rooms (better for allergies), just a small area rug, but that does mean the room can be a little echoey. I didn't hear noise from other guests, though, so that's good. I love the DryBar bath products. Shares a parking lot with Fuego tacos (yum) and Dutch Bros Coffee. Great location near I-10 and UTSA.

The water was scalding HOT. I couldn't figure out how to get the water colder in the shower or sink (took my pills with hot water). I could see from other reviews that this was an issue - people seem to have either no hot water or only hot water.

We probably wouldn't have had breakfast but with check in the computer crashed and we had to wait a while. Staff offered a free breakfast voucher. Breakfast was amazing! Annette is awesome and made us the best wraps we ever had!

There were a few long black hairs on the white shower wall. It's probably not because it wasn't cleaned but the wall is not smooth so easy to get things stuck on it while rinsing maybe? Staff should have been able to see it though....

The front desk was nice and helpful and answered all my questions. The rest of the accommodations were satisfactory.

My room was really hot when we arrived. The shampoo and conditioner were full, but the bodywash was not, and it was hard to try and pump the little that was in the pump bottles. No diner was available as there was no cook for later shift, only breakfast.

really nice clean and all the staff is super friendly. kids loved everything about it. charging ports for your electronics through out the place. out door/indoor games for kids and grown ups. rooms super clean and comfortable.

only thing we did not like was the long walk from the elevator to the room. i would recommend requesting a room near elevator if you have little ones you have to carry or learning to walk. also no microwave in room however they do have one down stairs which my kids used to make their popcorn then came back upstairs to watch Netflix.

Place looks fancy and well maintained, less than an 8 min drive to the Shops at La Cantera

Rooms do not have a microwave and that’s always a plus for us considering we love to take food left overs back to room.

All employees were kind and friendly! Decor was on point and amenities like the pool and lounge area were great. Everything looked clean and smelt fresh.

No hand soap in the bathroom and bedsheets had some washed in stains. These were minor issues though.

It's really nice looking. I've never stayed at a place like it.

No microwave?! Also a small trashcan in the bathroom would be nice. It was awkward sharing the only trashcan for general waste with everyone since I had to dispose feminine care products in it too.

So wonderful!! The entire staff I had the pleasure of speaking with was more than friendly and ready to be of service. We enjoyed breakfast here, which was delicious and very quickly brought up to the room. Cleanliness was top tear and it was overall a wonderful place to stay.

Okay listen here, as much as I hate to say. The water pressure/temperature could’ve definitely been better. I usually take “hell” showers but even this was lukewarm at most.

I liked the layout , the big window , the shower , the light up mirror was amazing , and my favorite was the tv allowed me to connect to Bluetooth and gave me the option the make the screen blank but still play my music!

I liked everything !

I really like Aloft hotels because they are pet friendly and reasonably affordable.

The area is a bit crowded with traffic though that’s not any fault of the hotel. Just getting in and out can be tough during rush hours.
