Executive Inn and Suites Tyler

It is cost wise a great value for the money for any family traveling on the road as we were. One note, this is not a right off the highway hotel, Tyler Texas is about 20 minutes off the main freeway. However, it was worth it! This is a nice, crime free area to stay and the price was definitely right. Also, it should be noted, Tyler is an alcohol free city so plan ahead if you wish to partake. This fit in well with our travels and I’m sure it will for yours. Interesting bit that my family really enjoyed; Visit a Mexican restaurant in the area and see the interesting way locals include margarine into the meal! Also the management was very helpful with trying to fix an issue with our TV during the stay, and was indicative of how they would go out of their way to fix any issues.

easy in & out. clean. smelled fine. bedding really soft. not the bed, it is on the hard side. great lighting. A/C kept room as cold as I wanted. june 24 weather 96° and humid. tv worked. had everything I needed. very glad that I gave this 2 star a chance. it was as good as all the 3 stars I have stayed at on this road trip. people are way too harsh with their reviews & they seem to not care about negatively impacting a person’s business with their over inflated expectations. I don’t know what else I could possibly need or expect that this property did not provide. fyi- not a complaint, just an observation. they are not providing breakfast. they are not even providing coffee. entire lobby is closed. business conducted through window. small coffee maker in room. did not try it. i bring my own travel coffee maker, coffee & creamer. exterior room doors like a motel rather than hotel. car right outside door. situated along a busy highway. A/C drowns out most all of the car noise. I personally love a noisy fan/ac. cant sleep without it. micro. frig w/small freezer.

the bed was too hard for my comfort. we have had many long driving days. our 50 something bodies are very sore. the hardness of the bed provided no relief for the next long day. this is a me problem not a property problem. it is impossible for a property to please every type of person. my review is not a critique, it is information for the consumer.

Street noise

Room was large and clean. Close to the events I was attending.

Room smelled like cigarettes. My room was smoke free but the night attendant said that the room next to me was a smoking room so I guess it comes through the walls. I turned the AC down to keep the room cold. The hair dryer did not work and they had no extras so I had to go out to my events with wet hair. It didn’t seem to concern the gentleman. Beds and pillows are okay. The pillows are small. No breakfast just a vending machine. This is a motel not a hotel and that is my fault for not reading the details. I normally do not stay at motels. Next year I will definitely not stay here. I left the next afternoon and lost the money for the 2nd night stay. TV channels are just basic so glad I had my iPad to watch Netflix and wi-fi is okay once you log in.

The staff is helpful. He changed my room and asked me to drink coffee in the morning although breakfast was not served. The room is clean and spacious. Additionally, the lodging fee is quite affordable. I think it is a cost-effective stay here.

The first room that I checked in had a broken door that could not be opened. Therefore, the staff had to change another room for me to stay. The breakfast is not served due to COVID but I think it can be restored. The location is close to a railroad so train siren sound annoyed me at night.

Location. It’s within a short walking distance of my brother’s house, Whataburger, I Hop, Subway, Walmart, Super 1 grocery store, McCoys lumber and hardware. Was just a perfect location for me.

I don’t think there was anything that I didn’t like about the property.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Luxury spa soaps, makeup remover, shower cap, coffee pot, hair dryer, nice fridge, microwave, and furnishings. Bedding was super thick and comfy. I slept so good. Great value. Booking and check in and out were seamless. Good location outside of the hustle and bustle yet easy to jump on the highway and go in either direction to town or to the zoo, Tiger Creek, etc. Would absolutely stay here again!!

The only negative I have to say was there was occasional street noise with people in super loud vehicles trying to be cool. Ha And the vending machines were broken which kind of sucked since there was also no breakfast due to covid.

Very clean room and building. They seem to spend a lot of time keeping their facility clean.

Noisey environment, located right off a very busy road. And some guest were very loud outside for a long time late into the evening. Most hotels will have security or a manager that can ask guests to keep volume level down when outside.

Clean looking room with controlled atmosphere and good staff ! Did not serve a breakfast 😕 but i guess covid is a way out of anything !

The staff was impersonal do to the scare of covid 19 but like i said i guess its a reason for someone to not serve breakfast or talk to you face to face !
