Though it gave this older hotel vibe it was really nice, everything looked new and very clean and it looked way nicer than any other big name hotel. Furniture was cool and so was the restaurant. Loved the Keurig in the room and the beer tickets was great too. Wish we had more time to take advantage of the spa but we came through for work. Checked in late and had to check out just a few hours later unfortunately.
The fire/smoke alarm kept going off in the room. Happened while I was taking a shower. Was able to call front desk and confirm that there’s wasn’t any fires. She did mention that it had been happening or just happened recently as well due to the hot shower steam. Other than that really isn’t any complaints to be had. For the price on such short notice and how amazing the hotel, room, staff and bar/ restaurant was we can’t wait till we’re back in Waco for work again.

The location was great, literally right next-door to the magnolia market and silos, and I feel like it was centrally located to most things. Employees were friendly, good parking, ice machine was literally right around the corner from our room. The beds were comfortable very nice decor, the bathrooms were good size and unique, and everything was clean. The restaurant and bar was really nice and big and their employees were very nice as well, the food was great. You have to get their fish and chips!
If I had any cons about the property, it would be that the bathrooms need better lighting, as a woman who wears make up, it was very difficult in the lighting that was there. The room lighting itself, was nice but a little difficult to use with the way that they had it set up. And there was some banging going on below us pretty late when we were trying to sleep, but I’m assuming that it was the restaurant and brewery, but it didn’t last long so that was good.

Beautiful rooms and unique, modern decor. The room and bathroom were also very good sized. The price was incredible great and the location was perfect for walking to the silos. It was also a very close drive to Baylor.
The front desk was only staffed until 8pm, and you use your key card to get in after 8. This wasn’t an issue for me, but it’s never my favorite to come back to a hotel by myself at night. I was also a bit nervous when I arrived and learned it was directly across the street from the bus station, but I didn’t have any unsafe encounters. But as a solo female, I still was extra alert. The WiFi was intermittent, which made it hard to work.

The location was perfect for strolling around the shops in Waco. The hotel was clean, charming, and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with a nice amenity of cold bottled water. The highlight was the amazing copper tub, perfect for soaking in after a long day.
The staff have provided information stating that the Pivovar restaurant and room service are open until 9. However, the kitchen closes at 8:30, so you cannot get food after 8:30. It would be better if they updated the information to say that the kitchen closes at 8:30 and the restaurant closes at 9. This way, if you just want a beer at 8:35 or 8:40, you're good to go. If you're hungry, make sure to have your meal earlier! Also, the Pivovar beer and pretzel we had the next afternoon with the three dipping sauces were amazing!

Last minute trip, ASTOUNDING surprise of a find for us! The hotel was impeccably clean. The staff was so generous was their time and friendly with their suggestions- super welcoming! The room blew us away. Gorgeous decorum and a beautiful copper tub. We were so excited to book the couples beer spa with snacks and drinks. We didn’t want to leave. We dined at the restaurant which was superb. It was so relaxing and convenient to have the room, restaurant, spa in one location. We didn’t have to go anywhere although of course we did take the few steps off the property to hit up a little magnolia shopping, other than that it’s a one stop shop. We can’t wait to book again! Our favorite new little Texas spot. Impeccably done from top to bottom. Thank you thank you thank you for an incredible stay.
The stay could have been longer lol

We didn't opt for breakfast due to pricing. We walked 2 blocks to Cafe Cappacino & had an excellent, less expensive meal. The room was lovely, maybe a light dimmer for the tub??? LOVED the proximity to Magnolia Silos. - Maybe include trolley passes with a stay???
This was our 17th Wedding Anniversary. The accommodations were luxurious but we did note in our booking that this was a special occasion. It was an upcharge for anything to celebrate that so we opted out. Our money went to HEB & we brought our own items. Even a card in the room acknowledging it from the hotel would have been simple. Not necessary but appreciated. Our money went to booking the stay at PIVOVAR when we could have booked something less pricey & opted in for upcharges there.

The suite design was perfect. Two separate bedrooms and bathrooms with a common entryway. The overall design of the hotel was unique and appealing. Center of hotel was enclosed in glass and looked down into the brewery. Rooms are beautifully appointed with “middle-European” decor such as hand-carved mirrors and textiles. Coffee provided in rooms (and in the lobby) with plenty of “real” creamer and sugar and complimentary bottled Artisan water. For an avid coffee drinker, this was HUGE. Petite fridge in the room was a plus. Rooms are cleaned and refreshed daily. Antique desk in the room with a comfortable chair was a bonus. View from room was the Magnolia Market. Other restaurants, venues and shops are within walking distance. Restaurant/Brewery adjacent to the hotel was SUPERB!! Would absolutely stay here again!
Restaurant/brewery had limited hours.11am-9pm. Not a “dislike” really. The restaurant was SO good, I just wish it was open longer.

The hotel did have the feel of a small European hotel. The staff who worked the front desk were excellent, both professional, yet very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic. The food and the dark beer were great. We had the same server both nights. Not only was she friendly, but she remembered us from the first night, including our preference of beer. The hotel and restaurant will definitely become one of our "go to" spots for a quick get away.
I cannot think of any dislikes.

Location next to the Silos was wonderful. We had a beautiful view of the lights set up for Christmas time. Having become accustomed to a bidet from international travel, we were very glad to have one here. We also really enjoyed the authentic Czech beer and food at the restaurant downstairs.
Somehow the way in which the rain dripped on our air-conditioning unit made a sound that was a little bothersome. All the buttons for the lights were a little confusing, as well.
