I stayed only one night because I went skiing the next day, It's 20 minutes from Brighton (I skiied Solitude). It would be an excellent option for a super cheap multiday ski vacation. It's got a full size fridge, 2 burner stove, kitchen sink, even a dishwasher, and it's 200 feet from a grocery store so you could totally eat in. It's also encircled by chain restaurants if you want to eat out. The room isn't large and the place isn't fancy, but the bed is comfortable, the wifi worked, and the whole place seemed very clean. For amenities, go somewhere else, but for a cheap getaway, it's pretty tough to beat, and I'll probably think about adding extra cheap ski trips in the future here.

No ice machine. There are ice trays in your fridge, but I wish they had at least one ice machine.

The room has a kitchenette, convenient location, and there is a laundry room by the front desk. It’s in the middle of a shopping area so it’s easy to run and grab food or anything you’re missing. I didn’t catch her name (sorry), but the lady at the front desk with curly brown hair and glasses was especially friendly!

I don’t have any negatives really. I think sound traveled a little bit (you can somewhat hear people talking in their rooms while walking down the hallway) but that was a minor issue since I didn’t hear anyone while in the room.

I usually book a hotel in the CBD but this time took the chance on a location 15 minutes drive away to the south. Glad I did. Mainstay was a very comfortable base for my one week stay in Salt Lake. Personable staff, a suite kitted out with all the basics that one could want. Ample free parking on site and plenty of food choices within easy walking distance. A lot to like about this place.

The fridge was noisy. Amazingly so.

We enjoyed our three day stay there and was planning on longer until I went to renew our room for the fourth morning and Sonja said the night girl caught my boyfriend walking in with a cigerette in his mouth. yes he holds one there not lit. She and I have had previous problems with theft and staff at her old place of employment. She is really unfriendly and a bitter rude attitude with the guests and her staff. U should fire her. more ploice presence in the entire area.

Facility was very clean, looked like everything was pretty new. They were still under some construction but that is to be expected. Staff was very friendly. The only thing I was disappointed in was it said continental breakfast but it was a paper bag with a muffin, apple and breakfast bar. I stayed at another hotel the week before and they cost more and you were charged for parking and no breakfast at all. Hotels are charging more and offering less. I wanted a true breakfast.

No cooked, hot breakfast! If they post a continental breakfast they should provide one not a bag with an apple, breakfast bar and muffin.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The view of the mountains was such a wonderful bonus and the staff was very friendly. I found the room to be spacious and well-appointed. It could have done with more pots to cook with but I managed with what I had. There is a Target directly across the street which you can walk to so it made getting groceries and last-minute necessities easy. I found the fitness center to be adequate enough for what I needed and it was nice to be able to get a quick workout in at the end of a long work day. The staff was so helpful and courteous. Anytime I had a question, they were quick to answer and also give me wonderful options of places to eat during my stay.

The wifi seemed a bit slow, perhaps due to the number of guests online at the time. That is the only thing I really had some difficulty with.

This hotel is undergoing a complete renovation and deserves a much higher rating. Our room was equipped with a complete kitchen, was roomy, had a well lighted bathroom and was super clean because everything was new. They also offer a large laundry facility which is very handy for anyone enjoying the outdoor activities Utah has to offer.

Room was a bit noisy, thin walls and loud climate control system, but I am really reaching to answer this question. Honestly we had a good visit. Breakfast could be better but I think you know that.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. I had surgery near by and was done well before their 3:00 pm check in time. I called the day before and explained my situation to Sandra, she said that checking in early wouldn't be a problem and already reserved a room for me. After speaking, she called me back to see if I'd need extra pillows, since I was having surgery. Branden, the night associate was also very helpful and nice. I also thanked him for being accommodating and he said he was happy to help.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. However, the 3rd floor where we stayed was recently remodeled and the walls and carpet look great. You can clearly tell a difference from the 1st floor. However, they are getting there. Also, although there was a clear sign in our room stating they are a smoker free hotel, it still had a strong smoke odor. But the good definitely outweighs the bad, so this wouldn't stop me from returning.

Loved the location & that we had a little kitchenette.

Checking in around 11:30pm & being completely confused with the front office entrance. The front desk attendant was gone for a couple of minutes so I couldn’t get in (obviously) the hospital looking window & the cardboard boxes behind the desk made it look like a back entrance. It didn’t look presentable or welcoming like a front office at all-but then again I was super tired & it was late & dark. The room we had was nice but we kept stepping on something sharp in the middle of the carpet & we only had one big towel in the bathroom. Also being on the road a lot we were hoping to use the laundry room but it was out of order.

The hotel offers a lot of value for the price. I get to wash my ski clothes instead of wearing them 3-4 times over 2 weeks. Great location for the ski bus to Solitude and Brighton. And a lot of stores that are very close, Target Supermarket and Trader Joe's. Home Depot if you need it also. Thanks.
