Best Western Plus Cotton Tree Inn

The location is great, right off I -15. The room was very comfortable . I particularly liked that the bathroom fan was an option and didn't come on automatically like in so many hotel rooms. Little things like that can get very annoying.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was no routine cleaning, emptying garbage or restocking of coffee and toiletries until the 4th day. I don't mind not having my sheets changed or getting new towels every day, but I shouldn't have to ask for more coffee or not have the garbage cans emptied. That said, when I did request more coffee from the front desk, I thought I would get it the next morning, but within 10 minutes someone delivered it along with more cups to my door. Very service oriented.

It was clean and the staff was courteous.

We were travelling with a 4 year old and it was great to have a pool and a washing machine my all the shops and restaurants so close-by. Also, the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was better than expected with some really friendly staff there.

The first room we got had a strange odor to it but when we told reception we got moved to another room without further questioning.

Very kind, cheerful and helpful staff! Good location for travelers wanting to explore the SLC area.

Nothing to dislike.

We always choose Best Western Plus because the beds are consistently comfortable.

My only complaint was a barking dog in the room next to us. I didn't know these were 'pet friendly' hotels before this trip. I like dogs, but I don't think they should be allowed in hotel rooms. Maybe have special rooms set apart where they won't bother other guests.

Everything the kids loved the pool, it was closed distance to a lot of places

Several of the most important things to me when I travel are customer service and cleanliness. The place did exceed my expections in both areas. All staff were very friendly and helpful, the room and facility was very clean. The hot breakfast had a great variety and was very tasty. I'll be staying here again.

Everything was impeccably clean which is the first thing I look for in a review. As other reviewers have said the beds are so comfortable!! I had a great nights sleep!! I would most definitely stay here again!

The girl who checked us in had ZERO customer service skills. She basically shoved the room keys at us and barely spoke at all. She didn’t say anything about how to get to the elevator, after wandering in several directions in the lobby we finally had to ask and she barely said “down the hall”...didn’t offer the wifi code, said breakfast is until 10:00 if you want it....didn’t say anything about what it was (buffet, bags die to COVID)....this was really a great hotel that I would stay in again but this girl needs a different job. Wasn’t a great first impression. I would have given a 10 if not for her.

this was our last nite in Utah after spending four nights in Provo for a hockey tournament and having to change rooms twice, The Marriott in Provo was miserable completely messing up the entire teams’ reservations This Best Western property was a welcome change, the room was the great, the staff super helpful and the location terrific

It would have been nice to know that they don't make up room every day, clean linens. I didn't realize this ans I would have requested it.
