Friendly accommodating staff. Nice, quiet, comfortable, and spacious stay option for the family with kitchen facilities. Nice on-site restaurant. We were accommodated on short notice - the staff worked hard to ensure we got a 2-bedroom villa. They take fire monitoring and control very seriously - noting the sprinklers in each room, monitors, and alarms. This is especially important when you have so many villas each with kitchen facilities.

Very spacious and clean apartments. Beautiful location - nestled against a mountain and hiking trails right behind the hotel. A short drive from many local attractions. The staff were very helpful and friendly. And there is a fantastic grocery/cafe (Brownsville Butcher & Pantry) about 5 minutes walk from the hotel - accessible by a short trail in front of the registration building.

The pools could be better maintained, but it seems they are getting updated now. And we couldn't get any cell signal in the area or in the vicinity. Thankfully the hotel wifi was pretty good.

Love this resort this was our second time staying here. Beautiful rooms wonderful admendities. We had to wait 30mins to check in because our room wasn't ready. But a woman who seemed to be of some importance came by and they upgraded our room from a 1bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom.this trip was for our anniversary so it was perfect timing. Dinner at the maple kitchen was amazing. We ate early and were the only ones there so it was perfect. Didn't get the chance to visit the pool this stay but will try next time. I would definitely recommend this wonderful place

The only issue we had was were we in the main building and it was noisy at times outside. But it didn't ruin the experience.

We were in a block a little up the road from the main hotel building, and it was a huge suite with a lovely view from the windows and balcony over the hills right in the heart of some stunning countryside. Very clean and very comfortable and pretty good value for money considering the size or room, facilities and outlook. Cheerful and very helpful reception staff. Even though it was remote the block had good wifi connectivity.

The dark wood kitchen in the suite was a bit gloomy and dated. No breakfast is included as it's not provided at all (we were only staying a night so didn't stock food up and use the suite's kitchen), and the dining restaurant on site I would not recommend as the food and choice was very average and it also wasn't that hot when served. But when you're miles from any nearby towns there isn't much choice.

Quite to hard to drive around after dark some outdoors street lights would be perfect Some dirt roads on the property with very few signs make them hard to navigate

Check-in was a breeze and all the front desk staff were exceptional. The room was amazing very clean and large with several comfortable beds and a great kitchen. While here we spent some time exploring the facilities and enjoyed the arcade and pool area. The restaurant on site is exceptional we had some amazing food that we didn’t expect for a hotel restaurant.

We were doing a road trip from Texas to Vermont. we did travel in winter so there was a lot of snow and the weather was freezing. But it look gorgeous stay was very friendly and the restaurant food taste good. rooms were very comfortable for my family of 6. They are old but very clean and they have a house-welcoming feeling.

the store could have some organic options also

Dinner was excellent, so fresh and good portion size. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was much bigger than expected, activity rooms were great for kids and gym was well equipped vs most hotel gyms.

Size of unit was great, with plenty of privacy - quiet.

a few minor cleanliness issues ( bathroom ceiling fans) and wasn't aware that we were on the 3rd floor with 6 sets of stairs to go up and no elevator. On sight restaurant requires reservations but did not have someone available to confirm. I called at 7 pm the night before we wanted , and again the next morning and left message with front desk. Did not hear back from anyone until after 3 pm the next day and by that time had made other plans

The surrounding property is beautiful and nearby several attractions and hiking. My family loved the indoor pool and playground. The room is a generous size and I appreciated the complimentary washing machines and dryer!

There was absolutely no cell reception which made it very difficult to call restaurants in the area for reservations when we weren’t in the hotel room (they did offer free calling to anyone in the US because of this). It was okay for the few days we were there but I imagine it would be difficult for longer or business stays. The sofa bed was really firm and the sink was slow to drain. Shower drain looked dirty.
