Clean and tidy! I did not need much and appreciated the perfect condition of my room.

There were some noises coming from neighboring rooms at night. The hallway had a slightly unpleasant smell in the air, but it did not extend into the room and did not bother me. The room door lock, though, should be repaired: the door did not close all the way and did not lock — noticed that only in the morning (you have to push it with some force to let it lock). The pool was not in operation, under maintenance (did not need it), the staff were also in the process of fixing a TV set in the common space (did not need it either). I appreciate that facilities are being looked after. It does feel like a continuous process, just as a PSA for anyone more picky than me :)

It is an older motel but is sparkling clean especially for a pet friendly room! Sheets and beds were very comfortable. Front desk and room staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Location is spot on! You can see and smell the open ocean from almost every room. There is a elevated bonfire pit, dog walking area, and very convenient parking. There is a free Island shuttle stop at the motel as well. Will definitely stay here again. The other people staying were all respectful and mature. It's not a loud or party place at all.

Great place I enjoyed my long stay !!!Generally very nice staff, clean hotel, good rooms. The hotel is a bit over priced. The black haired girl could definitely be a bit more friendly . She doesn’t have to bounce up and down and have big conversations with every guest . But she is very very serious/seems miserable and I don’t think I ever saw her smile . I tried to chat and joke a little with her and she is just so serious.

Very nice room. Within walking distance of an EV charger.

It's not that I didn't like this, I just found it odd: We had a dog with us. When we checked in we were told that if the dog pooped on their property, there would be a fine. "How would they know it was our dog's poop?" I wondered. Then they took a DNA swab from our dog's mouth. I can't imagine that they send in every dog's DNA. They gave us a brochure. I think it's just advertising for a company that will run your dog's DNA. I know what he is a pug/terrier.

Without notice or knock my door was opened two different times the morning of my departure. Thankfully I had the security lock on. The front door latch was broken so one had to hold the handle just so to get the key to work. The ice machine was inoperable on the 2nd floor. I couldn't find another one.

Staff was great. Facilities were QUIET and relaxing.

1: when Booking.com says pets allowed it's wrong. Cats are not allowed. Need to fix. 2. Need to upgrade tv options. Worse television programming I ever saw. There are many free streaming television apps that would benefit the hotel and would be of minimal start up costs with no overhead there after.

The room was spacious and comfortable, as was the bed. Check-in was easy. The heating unit was quiet and did not disturb our sleep. The bathroom had adequate counter space to put our toiletries. The decor was appealing both in the lobby and in the room.

The desk chair was heavy and not easy to move. The right arm rest was broken and the chair did not hold together well. The heating unit was also broken and was initially unable to be started. We were able to fix it ourselves, which was good because on a late Thursday night there apparently was no one on duty in maintenance who could be called to assist us. There was also no written TV channel list available, so I wrote one out myself. The refrigerator worked, but had no shelves in it to put things. We also missed the Continental Breakfast that used to be available in the morning.

We have stayed on two separate occasions which we booked through a third party. There were problems with the reservation both times through no fault of the hotel. The staff managed to accommodate us both times and turned what could have been a disastrous experience into a good one. I would not hesitate to use them again but will be calling the hotel directly for reservations.

The room was fine, spacious. No breakfast offered. The room itself was clean, however, the carpet is dated and dirty because of the years of use.

The tv in the room didn't come on but the front desk staff took care of the problem without hestitation. The swimming pool key didn't work for opening the door to the pool. The front desk had to unlock the room for us.

Some ants were found in the shower and bathroom floor. When we went to the front desk about it, we were handed a bottle of cleaner to take care of it and the girl asked our room number. We brought the cleaner back to the front desk and noone said anything else to us about it. Disappointed that there wasn't more effort to make that right.
