The property was nicely furnished as compared to other motels, and exceedingly clean. Yes, there is a “resort fee” that is attached to the base price but we will gladly pay this fee as we enjoyed the grounds, and the breakfast with made to order omelets was superior—fresh fruit, quick breads, musli, cereals, freshly made and always hot coffee—we’ve stayed at hotel chains upwards of $200.00!per nite that weren’t this good. The breakfast area is spacious and we never felt rushed. Most noteworthy was the exceptionally friendly and professional staff, and in particular Alberto. What a gracious and welcoming host. He’s the main reason we are already thinking up an excuse to return to the area and stay at Arcady!

The breakfast was the best I have ever had at any hotel that offers "breakfast included" in the cost of the room. The management team at Arcady Mountain Motor Lodge offered fresh fruit, local jams, on-site-made granola (I wish they would market their granola), artisan breads, fresh orange juice, and freshly made eggs in a variety of styles to your liking (scrambled, poached, over easy, and omelettes with your choice of veggies, ham and/or cheese). The omelettes were freshly made, light, moist and delicious. The rooms were very clean, the linens were fresh, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was finished with new, white tile, and the shower was a comfortable sized. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner were provided. There were fresh, clean, fluffy towels provided each day of our stay. The manager, Armando ( I hope I got his name correctly) and staff took great care to make sure we were satisfied. They were kind and attentive. The grounds were well-lit, with hanging baskets of fresh flowers all around the property. The landscaping was done with care. There were fire pits and outdoor seating available behind the lodge. There are also dozens of various types of chickens and ducks in a large fenced area that might appeal to children of all ages. I am usually not a fan of roadside, motel-style accommodations. However, the Arcady Mountain Motor Lodge is clearly the exception. The "lodge" is positioned conveniently up a slight hill from the main highway (VT 7A) providing privacy in a quiet charming setting. It is a hidden "gem" located in the mountains of southern Vermont. I highly recommend this lovely, well-maintained Motor Lodge. The manager, Armando, and his staff should be commended for providing superior guest services!!

The only thing I would suggest would be to install an air conditioner that was a bit quieter. And include table lamps with computer/phone charging stations.

The owners are gracious and welcoming. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and there were numerous seating areas plus large hammocks and tree branch swings.There is an outdoor swimming pool. Our room was freshly decorated, with new flooring and accessories. Our bed was very comfortable. And.now, the breakfast....omg, what a wonderful breakfast. Fresh fruit, home made bread and real butter,, and really good coffee. Then, you will get to choose how you would like your fresh, free range eggs cooked (chickens are housed at the back of this large property in a spacious chicken house with a huge outdoor run-everything was immaculate). I chose a spinach, mushroom and cheese omelet, my husband chose the ham and cheese omelet. Both were fantastic. Cereal, homemade granola, juice, and various teas are also available.

It was spacious and clean and the caretakers were so sweet and hospitable. Hot Breakfast was great; omlette custom made to perfection. The backyard had chickens and a campfire like environment with the best star gazing possible! Room had radiator with heat control. Wonderful for families. And oh, they actually called me to ask what time I was reaching and would I like pizza kept aside for me. Who does that these days?!

Since you park outside your room, if anybody comes back late, you can hear them. The lady next door to me was talking on the phone at 2 am after coming in late. Quite sleepless my night! Also the location is a bit boonyish. Reach early ! Not great for solo travelers.

Our stay was fantastic from the super comfortable bed/bedding and clean room to the delicious home cooked breakfast with eggs right from their chickens and wonderful homemade granola (they should sell their granola!), we could not have asked for more on our quick getaway to Manchester for dinner. The host was gracious, responsive, and attentive. He started a great big fire for us in in the back which is set up in case you want to have some drinks and smores. We WILL definitely stay here again.

I’m glad I found Arcady. It definitely stands out from other motels in the area. Everything is clean and organized. Host is very friendly and nice, always welcomes us with smile. LOVED the fresh fruits at breakfast and chicken running in the backyard(they don’t smell, don’t worry). We would stay in the backyard with campfire or on the hammock more if we brought bug spray 😆

Wish there is hairdryer in the room.

Many add-ons that other hotels/motels do not consider! For example, three fire pits with unlimited wood for guests. A great way for guests to get out of their rooms and meet each other! Excellent free breakfast - fresh fruit, cheese, muesli, cereal, granola, toast, eggs, omelets, etc. The dining room is open 24/7 with tea and coffee. Also a beautiful space!! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It felt as though you were a family guest. Rooms are tastefully decorated and updated. Simple yet clearly decorated by someone who took their time and considered the feel of the space. They included actual GLASs stemless wine glasses and didn't use those annoying small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc. Large bottles that were refillable for all soaps! The bed and sheets were clean and very comfortable. We will stay here often! WELL WORTH THE AMOUNT CHARGED!!

No brewed decaf coffee. Maybe a small table or extra chair in the room. Otherwise PERFECT!

delicious deliThis small lodge is a simple slice of heaven. After a busy day we checked in and took a swim in the pool. Met the new owners / family that run the lodge. Talk about kind, hard working people, these folks made are stay perfect. always smiling and willing to go above and beyond. Quite frankly a breath of fresh air. That evening we ordered their pizza, which was delicious, and sat out in the back yard at the fire pit enjoying the bantam rooster the ruled the yard. Breakfast was alsodelicious. Fresh fruit, homemade Breads, cereals, toast and most importantly fresh eggs from their chickens cooked to order. Thank you to the Acady Mountain Motor Lodge !! We will be back!

What a great little motel! Lovely setting just out of town. It has just been renovated and everything is just so lovely and clean. Our room was perfect with a comfy beds, lovely decoration and a really modern bathroom. All this is a cute little setting of the quaint roadside motel. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was terrific - everything you could want. We stayed at hotels 3 times the price the previous nights but can honestly say this was the best by far. So happy we booked here and hope others find this lovely little Vermont gem.

Nothing! It was perfect

Place exceeded expectations. Room was clean and everything well maintained. A bonfire was lit every night at the backyard chill area for the 2 night stay we had. The homemade breakfast was the yummy best part and the staff, check in/out was quick. This family run establishment is a grest place to come back too
