Hampton Inn & Suites Manchester, Vt

Breakfast was good. I don’t eat beef and pork products and wished I had an option, however Stacy Baker was wonderful in assisting me to have their chicken sausage with my breakfast even though it wasn’t on the menu that day😊

I prefer dark roast coffee. They had options for guests to have dark or light roast coffee, however, one of the managers decided to weaken the dark roast and therefore I had to get my coffee from DD across the street. I wasn’t the only guest that complained of the weak dark roast and when I stayed there earlier in the yr, it was not a problem, the coffee was as it should have been.

The best part of my stay was how clean the hotel was kept, the friendly staff and wonderful location.

The main purpose of our trip was family time for the kids in the pool, unfortunately the pool is extremely cold. I wish they can have it a bit warmer. During my stay there many people didnt use the pool because of how cold it was. But there is a hot tub if you care for that. I would love to go back here because vermont is so beautiful, but I'm not sure if I will because of the pool so cold for the kids.😕

Nice hotel.Very central with easy walk to shops and restaurants.Probably the most affordable hotel in the area. Nice complimentary breakfast and lovely indoor pool. Rooms and bathroom large and very clean

Our check in time was three pm.We arrived around four pm only to be told that our room wasn't ready.They were expecting a coach party who had to take priority! We waited in the lounge area for about an hour until the receptionist came to tell us that we could go to our room.She was very apologetic and we hadn't made any comment, but felt this was not the best way to treat guests.

The room was great, except we expected king size pillows on a king size bed. There were gaps between mattress and headboard.

The walls are super thin all 3 nights we were there, kids were running up and down the halls from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. very very noisy..sounded like a heard of elephants. The breakfast was ok.. the toasters took forever and a line developed waiting to use the toaster, our food was cold So we didn't even bother after the 1st morning..

Very modern, clean and comfortable place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff although as with many places in 2021, the lack of staff meant limited housekeeping which was fine with me. The buffet breakfast was very good. Sam's Wood Fired pizza is a short walk away and does sell very good pizza. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk from the center of town where there is a reasonable selection of what seemed to be popular restaurants although I did not avail myself of any of them. Equinox mountain which was one of the reasons that I stopped in Manchester before proceeding north on Vermont Highway 100 is just a short drive away.

It was somewhat pricey when I stayed there in mid-October 2021 but that was probably due to the combined effects of the pandemic and being there at the peak of the "leaf-peeping" season. To be fair, the price was not inconsistent with other hotels in the area.

Excellent location in a very beautiful town. The room was spacious and very clean. There was a basic but very welcome complimentary breakfast, and complimentary coffee available all day. Our receptionist was very helpful and provided good information about nearby restaurants, which we explored for our meals.

Location; lots of shops and restaurants close by. Especially Ponce's Bistro next door; small unique place, antique furnishings, converted house, locally sourced food. BYOB but there is no corkage fee. Overall great stay in Vermont!

Limited availability of their king bed rooms.

The breakfast was exceptional, the food was well prepared and was delicious. The whole establishment was exceptional in its, cleanliness and comfort. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

I cannot think of anything that could have been improved upon.

The inn is in a beautiful, central location in Manchester Center, walkable to restaurants and shops, with a fabulous view of the mountains.

The one minor quibble is that it was a somewhat long walk down the hall to the elevator with our luggage, based on our room location. This wasn't a big deal for us as we mostly used the stairs for our 3rd-floor room (top floor), but if this is important, guests could request a room closer to the elevator or request assistance with luggage, which was available.

Large rooms, extremely clean and well maintained location. Staff was extremely professional and polite as well as helpful. Beautiful outdoor area, probably the best Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at.
