Doveberry Inn was a nice quaint stay in the rural part of Vermont. Being the off-season for skiing, we had the hotel pretty much to ourselves. The host was nice and accommodating, and the free breakfast was always a treat. The beds were comfortable and the temperature control was wonderful.

A few of the areas were in need a dusting/wipe down and there was some mild wear and tear. The room was a bit smaller than I pictured, but it was cozy nonetheless. Traffic was loud, but obviously that's not the hitel's fault.

My friends and I loved everything about our stay. Tim, the owner, couldn't have been more cordial and attentive to our group. He welcomed our kiddos (five under 20 yrs old!)as much as he welcomed the adults. The breakfast includes yogurt, fruit, cereal and best of all: make your own waffles station. A big hit w/adults and kids. Bedrooms were super comfortable, fireplace in main sitting room always roaring and super easy communication make for a top rate stay. We'll be back for sure!. Oh, and The Tavern, recommended by Tim, is a fantastic spot for local bands and terrific food.

It is a very cute, clean and cozy little Inn. The wood stove, the living room, the cute little pool table and those board games, we immediately felt the hospitality on our first cold day in Vermont. We are a party of four and we stayed at the quad room. The room didn’t seem tight at all. Plenty of hooks, hangers and drawers for us to put things. Beds are so comfortable. Excellent location, just a minute away from Mount Snow resort and restaurants. Tim the owner was very friendly and helpful. We interacted more like friends. We will definitely stay again whenever we are in the area.

We appreciated plentiful breakfast w lots of choices, my boys voted the owner Tim's waffles better than mine home made ones .. My boys spent endless hours playing bumper pool in the common area, with the wood burning fireplace in the background. The Inn is very clean, cozy, with nice linens, and we liked the large room with the king size bed and a set of bunk beds. Keyless entry to our room was very convenient! In the evening we would snack on fruit and peanut butter that Tim would leave in the eating area. :-) in addition, the Inn is in a great location - short drive to Mt Snow and walking distance to 3 restaurants.

My husband and I had a great weekend at Doveberry Inn. we were impressed with the service, how conveniently close it is to Mount Snow (1 minute drive), the room was great and very clean. The owner was extremely personable and made sure the fire in the lounge was always lit and put out a nice breakfast spread each morning. We will definitely be back!

I did not stay for breakfast since I wanted to be on the road to Boothbay Harbor. This was my first post-Covid stay away from home and I was a bit nervous. You thoughtfully asked via email if there were anything I might need in advance of my stay, I replied I only wanted a safe place and very clean. You exceeded my expectations. Many thanks.

It kind of scared me when no one was around when I arrived. It was my fault since I do not have wi-fi and I therefore could not use my cell phone to inform you of my arrival time. Maybe some day I will get in the 21st century.

Great location, only 4 minutes from Mt Snow and close to good restaurants. Lots of parking. Easy check in and keyless rooms meant we could all get in the room as needed easily. The continental breakfast was great. Our room has bunk beds for the kids and a king bed in an adjacent room which was great. There is a cozy common area with fireplace and billiards for entertainment. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Only things I'd change would be to put a door on the king room and put a hairdryer in the bathroom.

The room was adorable, comfortable, quiet, and clean. The breakfast was delicious. But the best thing for me, was the flexibility of the owner, Tim, as I couldn’t reach him to tell him I was going to need to arrange for a late check in until it was already pretty late (no cell service where I was at the time). He was very kind and accommodating. Then we had a lovely chat in the morning. This was a New England Inn stay the way I remember it being from my childhood!

It was a pleasure to stay at the Doveberry Inn. Location was great, room was perfect for a couple. We stayed in the double room, which has a huge comfortable bed, a fire place, balcony and a bathtub. We only used the tub to shower but it was very spacious. They serve a small breakfast (bagels, diy waffles, muffins, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, OJ and coffee which i thought was perfect for someone just wants something quick before hitting the mountain and they also have a bunch of board games. Tim who is the owner stays on the property so any issues he’s a second away. He’s very friendly and has many recommendations.

Not a deal breaker by a long shot but you could tell the counters in the bedroom weren’t wiped down, probably just a mishap because everything else was clean.

i've stayed in hundreds of B&Bs in my years but to be honest, this B&B's breakfast was the worst i've experienced. it's sad because the property and location are excellent but leaving out some muffins, bagels, yoghert and make-your-own waffles is not an impressive breakfast.
