I was traveling with my daughter and her friend, the location was centrally located in a town/city area but felt very safe. The breakfast was wonderful, with more options than we could partake in! There were so many things we wanted to try but stuffed ourselves on what we did try! The room was wonderful, very tastefully decorated and the shower had sliding glass doors which was a welcome element after fighting with flimsy hotel shower curtains all week!

We loved the fact that the floors were not carpet as far as cleanliness went. However, when your upstairs neighbor decides to run a marathon in their room at 2:20 am, you understand how much sound reduction carpeting helps with. This was the only reason I cannot give this hotel the highest rating.

First, Pearl was very welcoming starting our stay with a friendly smiling person was a good start, secondly our room was very clean, we felt comfortable, the beds were nicely made, the bathroom was very clean and this help with the stay immensely, And thirdly the breakfast was a good healthy breakfast with hot food scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, toast and muffins, waffles, as well as cold food options. There was fruit, and coffee available all day and night, a little store to buy drinks and snacks it was very enjoyable, and a pleasant stay.

As everyone says, the price

Only stayed one night traveling between states to see family. We did not get in until late due to the weather. Location: Right off the highway Breakfast: Basic but good enough in a pinch. They do have a waffle station. Staff: Awesome, never had a problem even checking in at midnight. Always smiling and willing to help. Decor: Very nice and I loved the Christmas trees everywhere. Cleanliness: I am OCD and do not like germs so anywhere I go I clean/disinfect rooms, especially since COVID. This is the first place I stayed and did not feel like I need to disinfect my room. I sprayed a little Lysol and wiped the door knobs but that was more for me. The point is room, lobby, and food area are clean. It's a place to bring dogs and couldn't tell the dogs were there. Extra: Forget something toothbrush, razor, and so on they can give you no charge. The hot water for the shower was nice, and the heat worked well because we were at 1 degree with a -20 wind chill, the room never was cold. The bed was comfortable, slept well.

I have nothing, very satisfied.

Breakfast at the Abingdon, Va Hampton Inn was the worst we have ever had in our many years of staying almost exclusively at Hampton Inns whenever we travel. Fruit selections very limited—-some small apple and oranges in a bowl, and a few bananas so green they will not be edible for at least a week. I opened the oatmeal cooker only to find discolored water with a few pieces of oatmeal floating around in it. The biscuits, nor the bacon had normal flavor—-looked ok but taste was off. Maybe cutting corners to make up for $ lost during pandemic, but definitely disappointed with the Abingdon breakfast.

Needed more items for gluten/wheat sensitive guests and those of us needing to limit carbs and sugar. More fruit choices, more whole grain and protein options like cheese, nuts, peanut butter; yogurts with less sugar, ripe bananas.

The breakfast buffet was awesome! I have food allergies and the staff were very accommodating in offering an alternative choice for me. The hotel receptionists, sales and housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, it was the best experience we have ever encountered while traveling. There is not a thing we did not like.

Clean, comfortable room with comfortable beds. Every hotel staff member that I came in contact with over a two day stay was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Location was just a little out of the way. Great access to I-81 but less convenient access to town (Abingdon).

New hotel, good breakfast, provided everything I expect for the price point and the particular Hilton chain.

I was discouraged by the front desk to book directly instead of using Booking. Said there is rarely more than a $5 difference in price and I would get my Honors points. I explained that I prefer Booking and reaching my levels instead. Staff continued about booking directly.

The food was fantastic! I got a stomach bug. I called the front desk to see if it would be possible for someone to bring me a little food. The staff put a little something together and brought it up right away. It meant a lot to me. Not only for the food, but a genuine care for my well being. It is a place I will stay again!

Our closet/bathroom door would not work when we first got there. While the sliding door looks nice and modern, I think the standard door is more private and practical. Maintenance quick arrived and fixed out door.

Large bathroom with great lighting. Room was laid out well and the beds were comfortable.

Offer rooms with walk in shower. No one wants to climb into a narrow tub to shower. Check with your guests. I would estimate that guests take 100 showers before the tub is ever used for a bath. Even with a grab bar, stepping into a tub is very challenging for old people and fat people.
