We liked everything about this facility location the staff was very friendly and helpful we were originally booked at a different hotel that canceled my reservation due to my bank freezing my account because I forgot to notify them I was traveling even though I notified them that we would be having an early morning check-in I had originally booked the room to arrive on the 30th but knew we would be arriving on the 1st so when we arrived to the Courtyard at 10:00 a.m. of course check-in isn't until 3:00 I explained the situation to the front desk they said they would see what they could do, they got us in within hour and a half two hours tops so grateful after an overnight flight but the location is perfect close to the DCA Airport plenty of places to go eat all walkable including shopping, our room 1203 had an awesome view of the airport and the Potomac couldn't ask for a better stay

There really wasn't anything I didn't like the only thing I did notice they did not have was a safe for valuables which we didn't really have any to put away

The staff was excellent as well as the shuttle service to the airport and metro. The drivers were very attentive and kind. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was excellent.

The included breakfast was a big disappointment and you had to pay for anything other than plain black coffee. Also, most of the items were "reheated" bistro sandwiches and the french toast was the only fresh item. It was not like other Mariott breakfasts. There wasn't really any business services except a printer mostly for printing out boarding passes. We also kept getting only one towel instead of 2 for us both. Other than that the stay was good. It's not the hotel's fault but this location makes finding affordable dining impossible unless you are willing to do McDonalds. We had to go into Maryland or Virginia far away from the DC Metro area to find "normal restaurants" less than 30.00+ per person.

great staff, friendly, rooms clean, easy access to my meetings, but not to metro.

bistro menu was very limited, a la cart foods were expensive and no idea the price until purchased. wifi was open access so my phone and laptop kept telling me I was being attacked and would not access the wifi, even after the wifi upgrade, they did not make any type of connection barrier, anyone from the street could enter and use the wifi. The hotel shuttles were limited, did not start early enough in the morning, and taxis were very slow, thankfully I was able to catch an uber with another person or I could have missed my plane.

The hotel was just fine - solid staff - very helpful Security Guard assisted me when I needed refills for the coffee machine!!. As I expect from a Marriott property, the room was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. And while Chrystal City can be pretty sparse in places for quick food, etc., the small shop across the road from the lobby was very handy

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was its proximity to the Metro Station. Unfortunately, the Yellow Line is closed for the next eight months (not anything the hotel did). I recommend that you inform your business travelers of this fact. While it might cost you in the short term, they will undoubtedly remember your thinking of their needs the next time they travel to the area - I would.

The room was spotless. Well maintained and very comfortable. The hairdryer did not work but since I have short hair it was not an issue. I enjoyed great coffee in the room, and the staff at their restaurant went above and beyond! Also, the shuttle driver was very kind and professional. I really appreciate the level of customer service. It was amazing!

The room, bathroom, and public areas were clean and well appointed. Although it was a standard sized hotel room, the placement of the sofa didn't overpower the space. No issues with a lumpy mattress or worn sofa cushions as stated in some reviews. The room faced Richmond Highway. I was not bothered by the sound of traffic. Being so close to the airport I only recall hearing the sound of an airplane once. Friendly, helpful, accommodating staff. Timely shuttle service was much appreciated. Based on some of the online reviews the hotel exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay at the Courtyard Arlington Crystal City again!!

Breakfast at The Bistro was better than i expected. The breakfast sandwich was quite tasty. The service was quick, and the staff very pleasant. I would have liked a full service restaurant with lunch and dinner options. There were options for lunch and dinner within an easy walking distance.

No place for suitcase besides sofa. Shower had no handrails despite request. Bulk shampoo dispensers difficult to use from a shower chair. TV controls were iffy; streaming was often unavailable.

the refrigerator wasn’t work , didn’t notice the have where you can book a room with parking included instead of having to pay the extra money each day for parking. don’t have free breakfast as simple as free coffee or something little as muffins but is understandable cause of the location it’s the first Marriott I’ve stayed at that doesn’t offer at least a free coffee bar

The staff was great & helpful with directions. The restaurant in the hotel was very convenient. The room was clean & updated. The bathroom was very nice.

Only a few things; Missed a magnifying make-up mirror. The shower was beautiful, but the lengthy tile on the shower floor could be slippery, and that's when I noticed there were no handles in the shower to hold onto.
