La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Richmond-Midlothian

Location was great. Breakfast was tasty and good variety.

There was a mold area on wall out side of bathtub. There was also black mold in the air conditioning unit. The cover didn’t fit well and when bumped it fell off. That’s how the mold was seen.

Excellent location with so many food options at and near the mall, all within walking distance. Very quiet, comfortable room. Staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. I didn't get any housekeeping during the week because privacy was what I really needed and I was never bothered. Truly excellent hotel all around.

The air conditioning in my room could be a little finicky but it was late July/early August and I imagine the system occasionally struggled to keep up. I was never uncomfortable to the point where I felt like I needed to complain. If I have any "real" complaint, the coffee could be better and I would have loved an iced coffee option instead of filling one cup with ice and pouring hot coffee over it. But seriously, that is the tiniest of complaints and not a big deal.

I reserved through Booking .com for a total of $299 and tried to extend my stay and the app said to speak to the front desk. The man at the front desk said it wouldn’t be a problem the next evening when I went to speak with him, he told me that the very same room would cost $124.a night instead of the 92 I paid through Booking.com so he told me to just re-book the room and I was only able to get one more night at $104 + $14.99 I was not happy about his attitude when I tried to explain to him that I was only able to get one night when I wanted to stay through Friday other than that the rest of the staff is wonderful

The mall and carnival in the parking lot. Was there for my daught to attend her boyfriend's homecoming game and dance. But we forgot the dress. The location gave me a very broad range to shop and find a new dress. The breakfast downstairs was wonderful. The milk was ice cold and the eggs and sausages were hot. Super nice people at the best. We will be coming down again soon and we know where we will be staying. Also LOVED the bedding. The confortered between the top sheet and the top bedding. Will be one the hunt for them for my home.

My remote didn't work and could have had better pillows.

This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at that property. The staff has always been friendly, accommodating & professional. I never have taken advantage of the breakfasts but yesterday I did grab an apple on my way out. Your housekeeping staff works hard and they have always been friendly as I pass by. I will be returning in October and fully expect to use the hotel…it’s located close to where my daughter lives and I feel comfortable staying there now that I have a few stays u see my belt!

The water pressure in the sink was very bad. Not sure if that’s by design or that’s just a faulty faucet. I can’t recall during my other stays if the pressure was that low.

Location is great, literally in the parking lot of the Chesterfield Towne Center mall. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff! I stayed there three times in 3 weeks, for a total of 9 nights. I would happily stay again. There are a few drinks and snacks you can buy in the lobby and pay at reception. There is a small laundry room. Coffee is available all day.

Cheap pillows, not very comfortable. Otherwise, this place is great!

The hotel rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was satisfactory as well. The location is great, right next to a mall and several food places. I felt safe during my stay.

Some residents got a bit noisy and it woke me up, but there were many people staying at the hotel when I was there, so it was not that unexpected to hear the neighbors.

The staff are super nice and friendly. The one that stands out to me is the lady Hollie- forgive me if I misspell your name. She is super nice. I am a traveling nurse that works nights and some times when I return late to the hotel in the morning, even after she would have closed the breakfast station, she will ensure that I get something to eat before I go to sleep. The place is kept clean and tidy and no smoking means no smoking in this hotel. I like to bounce around hotels for the fun of it but I will finish my remaining 10 weeks contract staying at this hotel.Sheer to all the staff.

The location is great .. right by the mall, restaurants etc within walking distance. The manager was so kind and such a gentleman. My child has special needs and is sensitive to noise, the rom we were assigned had construction noise nearby. He personally came and helped move us to a quieter room on the other side of the hotel. The staff here truly made us feel at home. Thank you!

The shower head in the bathroom had weak water flow. The heat /air needs adjustment. The first room we were in needs some refurbishing. The bed skirts were spotted, the mattresses had huge dips and furniture was badly scuffed. The rooms were clean though.
